Note: this review is for the building across called Aquatic Ashby. But they’re no longer on Google maps and are now owned by Aquatic Higby. UPDATE Nov 2025: changing to 2 stars again. the building installed a new ButterflyMx systems on the doors, but fun fact: it never works. You stand there keep trying to open the door to the elevator or the building and it just never works. UPDATE Aug 2025: Changing to 4 stars from 1 star because the building managers (Anthony and Nitra) are really excellent and doing their best. The building just has a lot of legacy problems that are out of their control, but they do their best to fix them, and I'm very grateful and thankful for them. Really poor experience living here so far. Something or the other is always broken in this building. Sometimes the parking stackers are down and you can’t get your car out, or the garage gate is stuck and won’t open or close, or the fobs don’t work and anyone can enter the lobby. At the moment, the elevators have been broken for more than 1.5 months with no word on any compensation or reimbursement, just delays in fixing. I even emailed them, but got no response. The managers Anthony and Nitra are great and they have improved a lot of the problems that the previous management caused, but it’s still a very poorly managed building by the people higher up. At this price, you’re better off living elsewhere

I've lived here since 2023 and love the location and overall building cleanliness and amenities. However, I have recently been thrilled to get to know both Jesus and Anthony! Jesus, the maintenance captain, has been incredible. He is so thorough and so kind, going above and beyond to make sure our home is in great condition. I am so thankful the building is in such superb hands! Anthony has created a strong sense of community here with his friendly smile and community events, and recently helped make an inter-building move seamless — thank you! Thank you so much, Anthony and Jesus -- you make living here even more fantastic!!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Jesus, our Maintenance Supervisor at the Higby complex. He is consistently professional, prompt, and incredibly helpful with any maintenance issues that come up. He's always respectful, friendly, and takes the time to make sure the job is done right the first time. You can tell he truly takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the residents and community. It makes such a difference having someone so reliable and dedicated on the team. Thank you, Jesus, for all your hard work and for keeping our homes running smoothly. it’s truly appreciated!

I have lived here a number of years and am really loving the current management team! Nitra, Anthony and Jesus are a great team and do their jobs so well! Jesus is super attentive to any work orders and is such a friendly face around the building. He's the best!

I’ve lived in this building for 3 years, and it has truly felt like home. Jesus from maintenance is incredibly reliable and always quick to respond to any requests with a friendly and professional attitude. Nitra in leasing is a joy to work with—welcoming, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or assist with anything needed. Anthony in building management is consistently attentive and ensures the property is well-maintained and secure. It’s rare to find a team that works this well together, and their dedication has made a big difference in my living experience. I’m grateful to have called this place home for the past three years and look forward to another year here!
