  Myself and a friend of mine were staying at a shelter. I applied first and was supposed to be on a waitlist for myself and my son. When an opening came, they disregarded the waitlist and gave the open housing unit to the first walk-in, which was my friend, because I drove her there, even though I was waiting and homeless with a baby. I am glad she got the help but I am also angry for being overlooked. What is the point of a waitlist? Our curcumstances were exactly the same. Don't believe the illusion of the waitlist. She ended up with a rent of $400 and refusing to work while I continued to struggle and be willing to find work.

  I'm getting the resources..but my information is being shared with the tenants in building I'm moving from..I'm not at all happy with DevNW
