Overall a decent place to live. I’ve been here for 3 years and have seen a lot of mixed reviews, but my experience has been pretty smooth. I’m mainly leaving due to the price and needing a bigger space — and honestly, all of Denton is expensive at this point, so it is what it is, but my rent difference is about $200 more for the exact same unit since moving in.
I never had issues with bugs, as some reviews mention. Management has changed a few times, but each manager I’ve interacted with has been helpful. Maintenance is very quick, which I appreciated.
My biggest complaints aren’t really management-related; they’re more about the features. The concrete countertops aren’t the best, and the flooring feels a little outdated. But overall, it’s a good, stress-free place to live, especially if you don’t want to deal with buying furniture and love being close to the square, which is one of my favorite parts.

This is a little gem!! It’s nice safe and clean. It offers all the great amenities found at large complexes without in chaos. Talk to Alejandro about leasing… he is smart friendly and keeps a clean facility!

UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW
The new management at the Vitae Residences has been very helpful and gracious to my kids. In fact, my children actually requested to renew the lease for one more year instead of moving to a larger, more expensive location in Denton. After talking with the new management, I am cautiously optimistic that this new team will provide much better customer service to my children and all parties involved with any future issues. They have certainly been kind to me since taking over at this location. I would therefore recommend this apartment complex due to the fact that my kids certainly enjoy living there.
Thank you.

DO NOT KEEP YOUR BIKE AT THIS PROPERTY!!!!!!!! My bike was stolen from the bike rack in broad daylight while it was connected to steel wire bike lock meaning it had to have taken some time to get thru. The front gate is always broken and the leasing office manager could not have cared less about my bike getting stolen. She couldn't even bother to at least apologize for the inconvenience. This is also not the first bike that has been stolen from this property. Earlier this year I had a neighbor tell me that their bike was stolen from the bike rack as well and there was another bike next to mine the week before it got stolen and I haven't seen it since then. These apartments are also located next to a very shady looking motel so be weary.

It would be so nice if the leasing office would actually stay open during the listed business hours! Every single day it seems like the office manager leaves early, super unprofessional. Especially when people are rushing to make it there before it closes to pick up or discuss important things in person.
