do not come here AT ALL. I was suppose to tour an apartment at 4pm. I asked if they’d like to see it an apparently I gave “attitude”. the hispanic women racially profiled me and the black woman enabled it. I showed my confirmation and I was told I would not be able to tour because of an attitude. I would not recommend they wasted my time and gas PLUS parking.

WORST experience applying for an apartment EVER! Kayla the leasing agent is sick every other day and cannot get her job done. I have applied 3x over 2 weeks because she supposedly keeps “losing” my application. How does that happen when I’m paying a holding deposit and applied online? She claims the system automatically cancels applications after 3 days. Whose fault is that? Maybe if she did her job she wouldn’t have these issues. All this I can’t IMAGINE how horrendous living here would be when they can’t even handle people APPLYING! Complete incompetence running this complex. 0/10 recommend. This company needs to hire better management because these people are clearly not qualified to handle the job!

I was looking at the reviews on Saturday and was in the middle of writing an exemplary review because I thought ppl were giving the ladies and building a bad rap. I was called to work so I did not get to finish at that time. Then on Sunday I received a call from Kayla in the office talking about where my car was parked. I had already been in touch with Parkade regarding my spot. We had an arrangement. Kayla was being surprisingly rude - not allowing .e to tell her the circumstances. I could not take her screaming at me and being rude so I told her she needed to call me back and hung up. At that time, I contacted parkade to reconfirm our agreement. They sent me am email with the details. My car was fine. My car was safe. I was having a problem with the car and when the mechanic came today, we saw the car had been towed. It was not the parking people. IT WAS THE LADIES IN THE OFFICE THAT EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT!! There are posts all around the building that states Topaz is no longer dealing with parking...it is PARKADE. AGAIN, PARKADE AND I HAD AN ARRANGEMENT. HOW WAS MY CAR BOTHERING THEM?! IT WAS A SPITEFUL MOVE . NOW MY SITUATION WITH WORK AND EVERYTHING IS IN JEOPARDY. I JUST STARTED THIS JOB AND NOW MY CAR IS GONE WHEN I WENT TO THE OFFICE...AFTER THEY REFUSED TO ANSWER.MY CALLS, THEY TREATED ME LIKE A BUM ON THE STREET SHOOING ME LIKE A FLY. THEY ARE WRONG AND I HOPE SOMETHING IS DONE. I DID WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO. THEY TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO DO SOME UNNECESSARY MEAN ACT OUT OF SPITE! PLEASE DO SOMETHING. THIS IS UNCALLED FOR AND WRONG!!

The tour went well, and the agent was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Unfortunately, upon my first impression of the community, the assistant manager, Lydia, had a very unpleasant attitude and soured my entire experience. With that said, even though the community could have been home
Based on my first impression, I will not be moving forward. It’s unfortunate because I did hear great things about the community, but it just will not be for me.

I lived in the Topaz Building for three years. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely negative, especially after the change of management of the building, the quality of life deteriorated.
Here are the main problems that I constantly encountered:
Lack of security and regular theft of parcels: Postal parcels left in the common delivery area were constantly disappearing. I personally found about 50 parcels missing during my stay, which forced me to constantly worry about my orders and spend time looking for them.
Also, after the change of management company, the hygiene situation deteriorated sharply. Rats began to run around the building, especially on the lower floors and in the common areas. This is absolutely unacceptable for a residential complex and disgusting.
Another extremely annoying problem is the constant false alarms of the fire alarm. This happened several times a month, disturbing the peace, especially when it began to roar in the middle of the night or early in the morning.
Another, no less significant problem is the constant absence of security at their workplace (they constantly and for a long time leave their post). The same problem with the managers: the indicated lunch time was just a piece of paper with numbers, since they never returned at the indicated time, were absent from their workplaces for a long time, which forced residents to sit and wait for them for a long time (sometimes for a couple of hours), just to pick up their packages!!!
The culmination of negligence was the fact that my car was towed right at the moment when I was handing over the keys in the building office. I parked in a guest place (guest parking), the management knew about it!!! I had to pay a fine of $ 452 and spend several hours of my time returning the car. I sent a request for a refund for the towing, but was categorically refused. This demonstrates a complete lack of responsibility and customer focus on the part of the management.
Overall, my experience living in the Topaz Building was extremely negative and stressful. I highly recommend not to live in this building, especially considering the complete lack of proper security, sanitation and adequate management after the change of management.
