I highly recommend this assisted living facility. My 97 year old grandmother has lived there for three years. The caregivers, dining staff, maintenance crew, cleaning staff, front door greeter, med techs, and management, have all been great. Like truly the heart of this facility are the people who work there. Everyone is so friendly and truly caring about my grandmother like she is their own. The waitresses know her likes and what she usually orders, they have a set menu daily or you can order from the anytime menu. Served on white dining cloth tables with flowers. They have monthly live music bands and entertainment that frequent the facility. There is always something going on. The grounds have a lovely backyard patio with plenty of tables and comfortable chairs to enjoy the outdoors and the pretty landscaping. The is also happy hour daily on the 6th floor at their Sky bar with beautiful view and Friday karaoke. I feel like my grandmother is in great hands and I visit weekly so I know first hand how it is. Highly recommend.

My Dad has been living here for almost a year and while it's no one's dream to live in assisted living, having experienced other places I have to say that the majority of the care staff here truly do the best they possibly can. There are many wonderful staff members including Irma at the front desk who is always there for any support I need, Shelley the med tech, who has helped me in several medical emergencies, Litara the business manager and Rob the care director, both of whom were there to support and advocate for me when I needed help with insurance issues. Caring for your loved one is not an easy task but I am grateful for the staff who truly care at the Point for helping me and my father through this process.

Dealing with placing a loved elder can be one of the most trying times in a person's life. I have looked at numerous facilities for my 91 year old father, who has dementia and a history of falls. I cannot tell you how helpful, Antoinette and the staff at The Point at Rockridge were to me. Antoinette saw me the same day when I was in a complete panic, explained every detail of living at The Point, costs and the living experience. She was empathetic and compassionate. Truly, went above and beyond her duty. The staff was lovely and there is a great staff/resident ratio. Currently, I am keeping my dad at home with 24 hour care, as it seems the end is near, but if the time comes to move my dad, The Point is where he will be placed. I know he will be well taken care of there, the one bedroom suite I looked at was remodeled, light and airy. The dementia ward has a patio, so the residents can be taken outside on a daily basis, which is a huge bonus.

The dining experience at The Point at Rockridge is impressive. This is where new friendships are formed, information is shared, and bodies are nourished. Every meal at The Point includes a serving of soup and salad, a starch, a protein and a vegetable. Residents also receive dessert and beverages. The meals are always good, and most are excellent. The atmosphere is comfortable and attractive. The floor is carpeted which reduces reflective noise and encourages conversation. The colors are warm, but not distracting. There are attractive paintings on the walls and the flowers on the tables are real. The waitstaff are attentive waiters and friendly. They know the names of the residents they serve and almost always share a friendly remark. The waitstaff receive excellent training. They are courteous, compassionate and excellent. The Dining Room Supervisor has a demanding job and is very busy. Still, she makes time to answer questions, give guidance, and give an encouraging word. She also “pitches in” during very crowded or important events. This kind of support builds staff morale and is important. I highly recommend the dining program at The Point at Rockridge. Rev. I cannot adequately express my gratitude for the entire team at the Point! They have made my mother’s transition to assisted living smooth and welcoming. My mother receives attentive, compassionate care from each team member. Her apartment is lovely and she is building community with other residence. Of the several communities I considered, the Point at Rockridge was the clear choice!
