My experience living here was extremely negative from beginning to end. There were constant arguments, yelling, and fights throughout the complex, and reporting it to the office never resulted in any improvement. Dog waste was left all over the property regularly, and the hallways often smelled like urine. The overall cleanliness of the buildings and common areas was consistently poor.
We dealt with a termite problem in our bedroom that went unresolved for three days, and even after a so-called professional came out, the issue continued until the day we moved out. Sleeping in our own bedroom became impossible.
The property often felt unsafe. Homeless individuals frequently walked into the complex and stayed near the parking lot. There was no visible security presence, gates or doors were left open, and there were no measures in place to prevent people from wandering in. Many nights we felt uncomfortable walking through the hallways or to the parking lot because of the activity going on around the buildings.
Even though the property claims to be a non-smoking community, people smoked cigarettes and weed throughout the complex constantly—inside the hallways, stairwells, balconies, and outdoor areas. The smell came into our unit often, and management never addressed it despite multiple complaints.
Maintenance issues were constant. Appliances and fixtures failed repeatedly, and response times were slow. The police showed up on the property often for different situations, which added even more to the sense of instability.
When we moved out, our entire deposit was taken, including charges for repainting the walls, even though both the maintenance worker and the manager told me repainting is done after every move-out.
Parking was another major problem. The lot was small, always crowded, and difficult to navigate with only one entrance and exit. Finding a spot anywhere near the unit was rare.
This review reflects my honest opinion. I strongly recommend avoiding this property altogether. “The Missions at Rio Vista” has provided a far better experience, is less expensive, and is close by. This place constantly has vacant units, and my experience explains why.
Also, Cars were constantly vandalized there. A guy got his Corvette broken into and we had or rear view side mirror broken by some crazy homeless man

I had some issues with my washing machine and requested maintenance, and Fernando came out and he was amazing! He practically rebuilt the whole thing. We really appreciate his time and everything he did to help around our unit. We love Fernando!

I’m currently living here, and honestly, I’m just counting down the days until my lease is up. While the staff is friendly, it doesn’t make up for the constant problems residents have to deal with.
The biggest issue by far is inconsiderate tenants. I have an upstairs neighbor that is unnecessarily loud. They blast their surround sound so loudly that my living room will vibrate. On top of that, they’re constantly hooting and hollering that I can hear them clearly. I reported this multiple times to courtesy patrol, but nothing changes. It’s gotten so bad that I find any excuse to avoid being home because the noise is absolutely unbearable. Living here feels like a daily battle just to have some peace.
Parking is a nightmare. Delivery trucks regularly block my assigned spot, and there’s no enforcement to stop it. Guest parking is nearly impossible to find, especially during events at Snapdragon, so I’ve given up having visitors because it’s such a hassle.
Cleanliness is lacking. Some residents don’t pick up after their pets, and pet waste is often left in the hallways. Trash bins overflow regularly, and garbage is strewn everywhere when the homeless rummage through it. The whole place feels dirty and neglected.
Package theft is another problem. The parcel lockers are typically full due to a small parcel room, so packages are left out in the open. I’ve had three stolen already, and now I have to have valuable items delivered to my workplace to avoid losing them.
Water gets shut off frequently for repairs, causing a lot of inconvenience and disruption.
If you’re sensitive to smells, be prepared — the hallways constantly smell like cigarettes and weed.
The maintenance and office staff are friendly and do their jobs well, which is the only positive here.
Bottom line: This complex is a constant source of frustration. If you want peace, security, and a clean, well-run community, look elsewhere.

I'm very satisfied living here for 2 years because I have peace of mind and they're always very kind about the administration. Especially Vivian at the office. She helped me fill out all the contract paperwork, helped me get my storage unit and garage, and also filled out the paperwork for my parking permit. She's always on top of everything we need. I don't usually have any problems, but I made notes so they could fix a missing blind sash and two handles on my kitchen doors that had come loose from use, and they came to fix them very quickly. I highly recommend this place and Vivian Baker's service. :)

Thank you for repairing our toilet leak on Monday, September 22nd, following the pipe burst on Friday the 19th at midnight. We had to get up and assist maintenance in vacuuming water out of the apartment to prevent damage to our belongings, working until around 3-4 in the morning. We were told someone would come on Saturday, but we understand there were likely many calls from residents, which is completely understandable. It's unfortunate that this occurs once or twice a month, and every resident eventually endures issues caused by outdated pipes and mismanagement—this is seemingly what we are paying for. The disruption has been emotionally draining and deeply upsetting. We provided an eight-hour window on Thursday the 25th for water damage restoration vendors to arrive and repair our walls, since our apartment remains uninhabitable. We were told the work would take 3-4 hours and that someone needed to be there. They arrived at 2 p.m. I had made plans to be present but had prior commitments and had to leave by 4, so the vendors were turned away. Management has not made any effort to reach out or communicate so we can accommodate them and ensure someone is home for third-party vendors—yet again. I wonder if the expectation for Monday is that we will need to be here? Or Tuesday? Today is September 28th. Overall, this is a great place to rent if you're not planning to stay long-term—perhaps for military personnel awaiting deployment. It is not safe for children, the elderly, or people working from home. I possess proof of everything if anyone is interested. Consider yourselves warned.
