While visiting a friend who lives at Belmont last night, my car was towed! I was parked in a designated VISITOR spot for several hours and when I walked out to the parking lot to leave, my car was gone. I was told the “policy” is visitors can only park there for 30 minutes and I had to pay over $300 (!!!) to get my car back! This parking policy is nothing short of unheard of and totally ridiculous for visitors. You may love living here but don’t invite your friends over!

I would not live here. The cleaning check happens every other month and they are extensive. They will charge you through the roof if you don’t do them. There are a lot of spikes on my floor from an over worn carpet and I have cut my foot on it a few times and they won’t replace it. The office hours are not true. Countless times I have tried to contact them in person and over the phone and they are not there most of the time during the hours they have posted. There is a gym but it’s out dated and old. 1/2 of the machines don’t work. I have almost injured my self with a weight machine and a treadmill because I didn’t know that it was broken. I went over to them and told them about it and they did nothing. Not even a sign to let others know it’s broken. Ya there is a pool but you have to pay extra for it. The key that I payed for to use the pool sometimes doesn’t even work. I have to ask other tenants to let me in and have a show hold the door open and then the next day the key would work. So confused. Utilities aren’t included with the monthly rent. Ya there is a washer and dryer but they are also old they don’t clean my clothes I have been taking them elsewhere to clean for months. When I moved into this apartment it wasn’t even clean. The dishwasher was broken and it took them 6months to get someone here to fix it. There were Pokémon cards and plastic salon nails on the floor of my room when I moved in. Holes and nails up and down the walls. Normally this wouldn’t bug me but I am surprised because they are so strict about there cleaning checks. They charged me 20 bucks because there was dust on a door. But to be far they do give you a guaranteed parking spot for an extra 100-200 dollars. Outrageous…

The place is nice and spacious. That is probably the best thing about this place. The rent on the websites is somewhat accurate but it always ends up being more than what is advertised. If you are switching units within the complex, you are going to be homeless for 2 weeks while they clean.

Tow trucks are itching to tow people here. Legit I think they park outside the complex. I was a new resident and parked in a parking spot thinking it was my own. After a few hours, with no warning at all, my car was towed and I ended up having to pay 300$ to get my car back.

The apartments are pretty good, no complaints about that. Thats why I put it as 3 stars. Landscaping and amenities could be ALOT better if they actually used the HOA funds wisely. Since moving to Utah I have lived in 3 different apartment complexes, all of which had their quirks but nothing like this one. I have made repeated attempts and friends of mine have made attempts as well to express my concerns about problems seen around the complex and nothing is done about it. For example, there is a growing problem of cars being broken into as well as having gas siphoned out of peoples tanks, the grass is being overwatered to the point there are puddles all over the place even after almost 24 hours of not being watered and it being hit by the hot sun all day, and yet they STILL continue to over water it. This makes it very annoying for you to walk in the grass, lay on the grass, play sports on the grass, or even be outside near the grass because of how much mosquitos it attracts. There is also a growing issue of residents on cleaning up after their dogs which isn't your fault necessarily but there are thing that could be done to prevent people from doing that as much. Another thing is that the bushes are ridiculously overgrown and they wait till they are so bad you can't walk down a path without having the bush rubbing up against you. There are so many little thing they could do that wouldn't even cost that much that would make the biggest difference. If the people in charge are actually reading this, I recommend you do what you can to fix the problems that people express to you, walk around your own property to see anything that needs to be done before someone that lives there has to do it, hiring a security company to have someone to walk/drive around the complex to protect our things, and lastly getting poop bag dispensers placed around the complex so residents will feel more obligated to clean up after their dogs.
p.s. Stop taking advantage of the fact that we are college students that are easily replaceable. Make it a goal to satisfy our wants and needs so we actually want to continue living here and not just leave as soon as an opportunity comes along.
