Have you ever wanted an indoor water feature inside of your apartment? Will now you can! Everytime it rains your apartment will flood and ruin all of your furniture, who doesn't want that? In all seriousness do not rent from here no matter how good of a deal it sounds. The apartment complex broke a Texas state law by not providing information that the apartments have flooded in the last 5 years. They have multiple units that flood, yet they contiune to rent them out because all they care about is money! If I could rate these apartments zero stars I would. Don't rent from them.

If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat. I have been a lot nicer to the management than I honestly should have been. Since moving here I have experienced nothing but problems. I was originally supposed to move in in march and was told one week before my move in date that the apartment I was supposed to move into was flooded and it would take a couple weeks to fix. This was very annoying seeing as I was supposed to start a new job by the area and lived almost an hour away, but I understood things happen so I waited, and then when I would call to ask for updates they kept telling me it was still going to take longer! I finally went to the office and they agreed to move me to an empty unit they had until mine was ready. Mind you J was told it would be done in a couple weeks. I checked in at least twice a week. When I got to the place to move in, we realized that the key they gave me didn’t even work. We called the emergency line for 3 hours before finally having to get a locksmith. When i called the office the next day they just said oh gosh well did you try both doors:/ like obviously I did I was there for 3 hours! They then told me to come in to see if the key worked or not, when they realized it in fact didn’t work they just said dang yeah my bad I just wanted to see because of their pride! Literally what they said! Didn’t even offer to pay for the services I had to ask them to refund multiple times before getting a partial refund. On top of that, THIS WASNT EVEN MY UNIT! I still waited 2 MONTHS to move into my unit! Then They ended up just moving me into a completely different one:/ Then when I moved in I thought everything was fine until a month into living there my AC went out. I told them about it almost every day and no one could give me an update. It took them a month to fix it, mind you it is the middle of summer and the temperatures are so so high and they gave me one window unit which did basically nothing. When they did get it fixed after a month I was not even given an apology. Any time I ever spoke to them about it never once did they apologize, they would say that sucks but we’re working on it we’ll keep you updated and never did. I never got any compensation for the month I went without AC, even though it was so hot and I was having to stay in my car or at a friends house whenever I could due to the heat. I still laid my same rent and utilities even though I was not in a livable situation. There are also so many problems with the apartment. There are constant power outages, I’m actually writing this in the midst of one right now, the AC really isn’t very good. There are leaks from the walls and ceilings all the time and they never do anything to fix them even when you put in a maintenance order. They’ll say they fixed it and then it will be right back to being broken the next day or it just will stay broken. I don’t have hot water half the time and the other half it’s so hot it burns your skin. There are bugs that get in so easily. There’s a smell of mold to the whole place. They will also come into your apartment a LOT and never let you know when they will be doing so. Also in case you’re wondering, the times they come in so often they have not fixed anything. The management is completely useless I don’t even know why I bother to ask them for help ever. I’ve grown to hate this place so much I haven’t even decorated or unpacked all my things because I want to be able to get out of here as soon as I can, I don’t even feel a single ounce of wanting to stay here. It is honestly terrible. Yes the price is alluring, but if you don’t want to absolutely hate where you live I suggest trying to find anywhere else, paying a little more is worth not having to deal with this.

I have absolutely no nice things to say about this apartment. This was my first ever apartment on my own with roommates, but I've lived in many cheap apartments with family over the course of my life and this is by far the worst I have ever seen. First of all, if you have any maintenance concerns you might as well just pick a god and pray because management will not save you. They never do things when they tell you they will. On THREE SEPERATE OCCASSIONS I was told something along the lines of "We will be back in 30 minutes" and then they didn't come back for atleast a day so Im sat there waiting for help and not receiving any. A/C Is broken half the time, and if it isn't it sure doesn't work in my room specifically. My door isn't sealed all the way, things can come in under it and under my walls, and the only thing saving me during the winter was a heated blanket. This summer I just have this industrial strength fan because in Texas Heat I get little to no cooling and just sleep without blankets. I once asked them to please put the metal numbers on my door that can actually be seen and they said "we'll be over in the morning to do it" and uh. Where are my numbers, guys? Its been many months. Our faucet has been leaking the entire time we've been here. Started at dripping, then a bit heavier, and then a full on stream of water like I had actually turned it on. Twice I pointed it out when maintenance swung by, and Twice they acted like they didn't know when we had put in work orders. They said "Oh it needs another part let me order it" and to this day it is still leaking. My shower hardly works, and most of the time its freezing cold water that refuses to get warm no matter how long I run it to wait for it to warm up. Even if nobody's used the water for a while. I have never met management more unhelpful than DSA. You have to ask at LEAST 3 times for them to even try to do anything, and sometimes their 'trying' is just telling you to go to a different office at a different location only for that office to tell you to go back to your own and repeat the steps you told them you already did. None of them know what they're doing at all. They're sassy and rude a lot of the time, and I really don't think they're trained for any of this. The amount of times I've been told they'll do something only for weeks to go by with no updates is absolutely ridiculous. Oh yeah and the flooding. They had atleast a week to fix a broken pipe that was creating a river by my apartment, didn't do anything about it, water started coming into my home, we called and they pretty much told us there was nothin they could do before finally doing something in the morning after I'd already called out of work so I could make sure none of my stuff got damaged because whoopsie daisy my room is a step below the rest of the apartment and the front door. Lovely place for water to come in and collect. Not to mention the pests. Roaches, rats, various bugs, you name it. Caused quite a bit of stress. I wonder if it's because they dont even clean the apartments before giving them to people, even if there's chewed gum on the floor and brisket on the counter, and it seems no amount of scrubbing can fix any of it. Or maybe its because there's a lot of unsealed places in the walls and even the door so things can just mosey on in here like they own the place. I have a theory its a bit of both. Do not rent here. I know you might be looking at the one star reviews and comparing them with the pricetag and thinking "Oh but it could be worth it" i assure you it's not. I came here with almost nothing and was thankful for the seemingly small pricetag but after having our water cut off many times, dealing with uncomfortable temperatures with no help whatsoever, and arguing with management that boils down to a heaping pile of incompetence with no sense of urgency? I regret not listening to the reviews. I doubt they'll ever fix any of this considering the reviews are all the same and go back years. Do yourself a favor and do not rent here.

Run and do not look back. Ac problems in peak summer heat, rats, roaches, leaky faucet that never got fixed, flooded apartment, constant water shut offs, sealed shut windows (fire hazard!), fire extinguishers are not in the unit (fire hazard!), zero insulation anywhere, a bunch of 18-20 year olds staffing the office that have no idea what’s happening, and maintenance will never come. Rotten brisket on the counter and trash everywhere upon move in, dirt everywhere, horrible carpet with nails poking through, absolute misery to live here and we made a plan to move out 4 months into our 12 month lease. The only good thing I can say is that I never heard my neighbors. Pay a few more hundred to get a better lease that isn’t with DSA.

My daughter and I chose this apartment complex but was not given her free month of promised rent before signing lease (and free iPad) and can’t get ANYONE in management to return an email or phone call. Her apartment she chose way in advance was given to someone else, etc etc Disappointed all the way around.
