Honestly if i could give 0 starts I would. I do not recommend signing a lease here at all. They have a hard time even keeping management, in the year I have lived here they are now on their third management. Stairs are completely unsafe and there is not even a hand rail. All different types of bugs as well as rats and mice, you tell management and they do absolutely nothing about it. I went an entire month without hot water and had to shower at other peoples places due to it and they said they would take some money off of the rent which never ended up happening. You put maintenance orders in and they just disappear and don’t get fixed. I ended up asking the management what I needed to do to break my lease without penalty and as my lease agreement stated I did exactly that, then a week later new management came in and denied letting me break my lease after telling me they had to honor what the old management had told me even though I had followed exactly what the old management said as well as what my lease agreement stated. These people do not care about residents whatsoever.

I called and texted and emailed for weeks and weeks after applying to Iconic Village apartments, interested in a lease takeover, not even so much as a call or email back.
They also have a pet screening process you can’t skip and if you don’t have a pet, there’s no clear instructions on how to “complete” a profile. Seems if you make one, you have to pay a fee.
I’m very disappointed and rarely leave bad reviews.

Have you ever wanted an indoor water feature inside of your apartment? Will now you can! Everytime it rains your apartment will flood and ruin all of your furniture, who doesn't want that? In all seriousness do not rent from here no matter how good of a deal it sounds. The apartment complex broke a Texas state law by not providing information that the apartments have flooded in the last 5 years. They have multiple units that flood, yet they contiune to rent them out because all they care about is money! If I could rate these apartments zero stars I would. Don't rent from them.

If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat. I have been a lot nicer to the management than I honestly should have been. Since moving here I have experienced nothing but problems.
I was originally supposed to move in in march and was told one week before my move in date that the apartment I was supposed to move into was flooded and it would take a couple weeks to fix. This was very annoying seeing as I was supposed to start a new job by the area and lived almost an hour away, but I understood things happen so I waited, and then when I would call to ask for updates they kept telling me it was still going to take longer! I finally went to the office and they agreed to move me to an empty unit they had until mine was ready. Mind you J was told it would be done in a couple weeks. I checked in at least twice a week. When I got to the place to move in, we realized that the key they gave me didn’t even work. We called the emergency line for 3 hours before finally having to get a locksmith. When i called the office the next day they just said oh gosh well did you try both doors:/ like obviously I did I was there for 3 hours! They then told me to come in to see if the key worked or not, when they realized it in fact didn’t work they just said dang yeah my bad I just wanted to see because of their pride! Literally what they said! Didn’t even offer to pay for the services I had to ask them to refund multiple times before getting a partial refund. On top of that, THIS WASNT EVEN MY UNIT! I still waited 2 MONTHS to move into my unit! Then They ended up just moving me into a completely different one:/ Then when I moved in I thought everything was fine until a month into living there my AC went out. I told them about it almost every day and no one could give me an update. It took them a month to fix it, mind you it is the middle of summer and the temperatures are so so high and they gave me one window unit which did basically nothing. When they did get it fixed after a month I was not even given an apology. Any time I ever spoke to them about it never once did they apologize, they would say that sucks but we’re working on it we’ll keep you updated and never did. I never got any compensation for the month I went without AC, even though it was so hot and I was having to stay in my car or at a friends house whenever I could due to the heat. I still laid my same rent and utilities even though I was not in a livable situation. There are also so many problems with the apartment. There are constant power outages, I’m actually writing this in the midst of one right now, the AC really isn’t very good. There are leaks from the walls and ceilings all the time and they never do anything to fix them even when you put in a maintenance order. They’ll say they fixed it and then it will be right back to being broken the next day or it just will stay broken. I don’t have hot water half the time and the other half it’s so hot it burns your skin. There are bugs that get in so easily. There’s a smell of mold to the whole place. They will also come into your apartment a LOT and never let you know when they will be doing so. Also in case you’re wondering, the times they come in so often they have not fixed anything. The management is completely useless I don’t even know why I bother to ask them for help ever. I’ve grown to hate this place so much I haven’t even decorated or unpacked all my things because I want to be able to get out of here as soon as I can, I don’t even feel a single ounce of wanting to stay here. It is honestly terrible. Yes the price is alluring, but if you don’t want to absolutely hate where you live I suggest trying to find anywhere else, paying a little more is worth not having to deal with this.

don’t live here. Whatever perks you may think this place has are not worth it. It’s so bad. It’s infested with roaches first of all. Good luck getting anyone to help you fix your maintenance issues. The water RANDOMLY TURNS OFF AND THEY DONT WARN YOU OR TELL YOU WHEN IT WILL BE BACK ON. Like…… it’s bad. This place has gone through several different owners. It will probably continue to do so, so you can count on your documentation getting lost. The building itself is falling apart; It is very old. Did I mention the roach infestation???? That the apartment complex does nothing about? Also the people the run this place will have zero sympathy or patience for you. there are only 3 washers and 4 dryers for the entire complex. (One of the dryers doesn’t work and doesn’t get fixed) And it costs $5 for one small load of laundry. The laundry room randomly gets flooded with water. The apartment may leak and flood when it rains a lot. The bathrooms have little to no ventilation and it’s an insane mildew/mold risk. The people that live here are nice though.
If you get an apartment here just expect it to be extremely cheap and poor quality. Expect roaches. Expect random problems. Also it’s really not that cheap to live here. You could get an apartment at a much better complex for a similar price. Don’t let this place rip you off. It needs to be seriously renovated or it needs to be torn down.
