My mom needed an assisted living place to move to, we looked at several places but was assured that Pacifica was such a good place to take your loved one and has such a great reputation, boy was I wrong!! She was not even there a year and we watched this place go downhill!!! The director that was there when she moved in was great and had been there for sometime but she left, unfortunately the new director felt that my moms needs were greater than what Pacifica could handle even though they are a AL2 facility. Mom and I watched 4 head nurses leave, the chef walked out, did not even have enough staff to provide services to the tenants there during the 10 months she was there. This facility is very old and smells old. We were very disappointed that Pacifica had us move again and find another place for mom to live, they kicked her out. Fortunately we did find a very beautiful facility that opened their arms out for my mom to come live and she is extremely happy now and they are very happy to accommodate her. Do your homework and make sure you find out how good the place you choose is running well and does not have high amounts of turnovers of staff or directors. There are a lot of good Assisted Living places out there just look for them. Pacifica is NOT one of them! Your loved one deserves the best care and to be happy, its also a peace of mind for yourself knowing your loved one is in good hands...

I am a current resident of Laurel at Millcreek. I just received a rent late notice on my door tonight. I have now been here eight months. The landlord has lost, miss placed my rent check now four times. June, July, August were all in one notice. Now December. June, July and August the cashier check stub was not enough proof for him. He made me get bank statements as well. Later to find the checks in his office. He signed all the cashier check stubs at the time of payment for proof he received them too. His signature wasn't enough proof for him either. Just seems almost like harassment to miss place or loose a rent check four out of the eight months. I will go into the office tomorrow morning to show proof aka a cashier check stub and a copy with his signature on it. For December. (Look for an update on how this goes) Also was told there would be a gym and a common area finished in two months. That was back in May 2024. Still nothing just a torn up mess. No hot water for a few days. Was told I could take a shower in the model, or there was a shower down the hall. The list goes on. I'm trying to be more than kind, cause I still have five more months until my lease is up. This place use to be assistant living a few years back. It is now a 55+ independent apartment living. The pictures on the Web site are from many years ago. When it was assisted living. Pictures are very deceiving. Rent prices are reasonable, but you get what you pay for. Be cautious moving here for sure. FOLLOW UP: Manager did call first thing in the morning and he did find the check. No hassle, no fuss. Still feel once is a mistake. Anything after that should be tripled checked before sticking a late notice on my door.

I will be forever grateful for the care and love that Pacifica provided to my mother. Every person at Pacifica; whether it be someone who works in the kitchen, as an aide, within the administration team, or at the front desk has an extraordinary heart and a vital role in what makes Pacifica an incredible place to live. I personally watched the caring staff take on many different roles at various times to ensure that the best care is being given. Each person gives a 110% every day and goes above and beyond in caring for the residents and their families. I couldn't have been happier with the care, the communication, and the friendliness that my mother received when she lived at Pacifica.

A slum. The hallways are filthy, the amenities are non-existent. Remodeling was promised by Oct 2024... has not begun. The place is owned by an obscure company with no direct number. The resident manager does not return emails or phone calls when without hot water for over 20 days. It's hard to imagine worse.

The staff consistently greets us with big smiles. So helpful and caring with attention to details too. The facility is beautiful and well kept. Right now it is decorated for Christmas; each holiday special decoration is added to the common areas which is fun. My mom is very happy there we enjoy coming by to see her AND the staff!
