As I write this message, the fire alarms across the entire building have been going off continuously for nearly an hour. I have been displaced from my home with nothing but the clothes on my back and the phone I am writing this on. The front desk is apparently completely unstaffed on the weekends and thus nobody has a way in to turn the alarms off. The fire department arrived 45 minutes ago and has not managed to resolve the issue, apparently due to the lack of a non-destructive entry method.
Edit: the alarm took upwards of 72 minutes to resolve. Over an hour of my life wasted.

Roaches I would genuinely give zero stars if posssible the kitchen area is filled with roaches you can try to have the the kitchen as clean as possible and I promise you roaches would still be here roaches everywhere I’ve contacted them twice they apparently came and sprayed but if anything it only made the roaches work don’t let the tour of the tour apartment fool you it’s nowhere as clean as the actual apartments there’s this smell of cigarettes everywhere I genuinely can’t wait for my lease to finish her. People who live here are heart loud you’ll find them all drunk late at night in the lobby area the study rooms have no ac so your left sweating the gym equipment is veary restricted not a lot of options. Overall I don’t recommend this place at all trust the reviews don’t stay here. Only pro I can give is they handle maintanknce beady quickly within 2 days maximum and the maintenance workers are really good people don’t stay here I’m warning you you’ll hate it.

I can't even begin to list all of the problems with this place but I'll try to list some. My apartment flooded 3 times while I was living here and I attached a video of the most recent time, none of the floods were from my apartment but adjacent apartments. Most of my things were ruined and the apartment was impossible to deal with thoughout the process, they failed to put me up in a hotel for the first night and I had to find my own place to stay, they didnt let us know very much information thoughout the process so me and my roommates never knew when we could get back in, and my things that weren't ruined by the flood were eventually broken, damaged, or painted over during the repairs. They will charge you far too much. They will tow your car since they have a deal with a local towing comapany, my roommate even got towed despite being a resident and paying for parking. They did end up droping most of the payments but he still lost his car for no reason for 3 days. The internet used to be good, then they "upgraded" and now if you sit right next to a signal extender you might be able to watch one youtube video if you let it load beforehand. They constantly enter your apartment for the littlest things like checking cleanliness but whenever you know what apartment the cockroaches are coming from they day they can't do anything or go in there to check. My Rent increased by over 200% while I stayed there for 3.5 years with nothing getting better. Management constantly changes and none of them will want to speak to you if you come to the front office, the employee will say one thing, go back to get the manager, and come back and say the same thing again and say its the best they can do. I would avoid this place unless you have no better option.

First im going to give a VERY detailed review. I have stayed in different college apartments around UTA. I will say this is one of the better ones to stay, but maybe i feel that way because i did not stay in a roach infested unit. But i have heard others are so tak that into account but do not stay here . I have lived here for 2 years under two different management teams. The fire alarm they go off all time for 30-40 minutes at a time middle of the night early in the morning, during snow storms, during extreme heat. The walls and doors are very, very, hollow more than usual. If someone is doing dishes or having a phone conversation in the living room or kitchen area it will sound like they are in your room so hopefully you don’t have any night owl roommates. The amities are non existent so please don’t move here thinking you are getting those. Basically you are paying for a pool and a indoor elevator that does not work . The pool they will only open from October - April after that they will close it until the new move in day which is in late Aug. and they will give you an excuse for the reason they need to close it . That has happened both years i was here. The elevator there is only two and they are not connected to the parking garage. The outside doors on the side of the building some doesn’t have a way of you entering the building with your key fob that is nearest to your apartment if you stay on a corner until so you have to use another door to get into the building. So the elevator and pool you are paying for it but most likely more than 60% of the year you cant use it . 2 of my stove eyes have not been working mad multiple requests to fix it, maintenance would fix it and the stovetop would stop working a few weeks after in my experience they were good about fixing maintenance issues in a timely manner. They changed their parking policy midway through the year, but gave each unit a update paper but its not available anywhere on the rental portal website it’s one violation and you will get towed even for guest parking spots if you don’t register you are going to get towed. The water heater is on a timer the hot water if you are showering will not last longer than 15-20 minutes. The rent will be raised if you like it enough to renew your lease. But your rent will be drastically raised as if we are not a student college campus apartment. My rent renewal went up $100 per month from my old lease. There’s no incentive to renew here unlike some other options around uta. Also the electricity bill just treat it like a fee because you and your roommates will go over $100 allowance of electricity because of the texas heat and the cold weather. LASTLY the 5 star ratings are bought please pay no attention to them.

It’s not worth the money living here unless you have absolutely no other options. When I received my keys, the room was disgusting. I went to the office & the outcome was an apology with $24 posted to my account. I moved my stuff into the closet & left for the weekend. When I came back on Monday, it was half cleaned. (Pictures below is what they considered to be clean)
I did a maintenance request regarding black mold. They sprayed Clorox & left. I’ve been locked out the apartment 2x in the last 5 months because of the key fob needing to be reprogram. Luckily, I have family that stay in the area because maintenance don’t answer the emergency line. Other people mail is always in my apartment unit mailbox except the people that actually live there.(pictures below as well) The wall are so thin. I can hear the person above me alarm going off every morning.
