I hosted a paint party at Retreat at Union Square, and everyone I worked with was wonderful. The property is beautiful inside and out. I especially enjoy partnering with businesses that care about their residents and sponsor fun events like this.

Communication with management has been extremely frustrating. I lost my amenity key in December and contacted the leasing office to request a replacement. I was repeatedly told not to worry because key fobs would be issued soon, with an expected rollout during the first week of January. When the first week of January passed, I followed up and was again told the fobs would be available shortly. Upon inquiring a third time, I was then told that no specific date had ever been given and that I should simply purchase a replacement key. This directly contradicted what I had previously been told. Had this been communicated clearly from the beginning, I would have done so months ago. The lack of clear and consistent communication made this process far more frustrating than it needed to be.

Living at the Retreat at Union Square has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment I moved in, the staff made me feel completely at home—friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the entire community feels clean, safe, and welcoming.
The apartments themselves are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The amenities are top-notch—whether it’s relaxing by the pool, working out in the fitness center, or simply enjoying the quiet atmosphere, there’s always something to appreciate.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the sense of community and the genuine care the management team shows for their residents. They make living here stress-free and enjoyable in every way.
If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and a truly positive living experience, the Retreat at Union Square is the perfect choice. I couldn’t be happier to call this place home!

This is going to be a somewhat comprehensive review of our experience with Retreat at Union Square.
First of all, we have been living here for about a year now and just got the lease renewal, we were pleasently surprised. It's clear that this apartment complex values retaining tenants, which in of itself is something that sets itself apart from many others out there.
The area that the apartments are located at is nice, and the apartment complex itself is quiet and well maintained with lots of trees. It's generally a good area to take walks.
Both the local management, as well as the rest of the staff (including maintenance) are doing a fantastic job! You can tell that management really cares here, any concerns that we've had were taken seriously and always addressed immediately. Maintenance requests are also completed quickly and efficiently.
The team here also throws little partys and events occasionally, the ones we went to were well done.
The apartments themselves are more on the modern side and pleasant to live in. The apartments have very good insulation both temperature and sound-wise. The walls are thick and we’ve never heard any of our neighbors through the walls.
There is a decent-sized pool open during the summer months, and a hot tub that runs all year long, both of which are well maintained (with the exception of an annoying LED light in the hot tub that keeps flashing, which one only notices when it’s getting dark anyway, so not a big deal. Might be difficult to fix since they would likely have to first drain the hot tub.) Another plus is that the hot tub doesn’t have the usual toxic chemicals that most other places use, I don’t know what exactly they put in the hot tub here to keep it sanitary, but whatever it is, it is much healthier than the standard stuff. There's also a little gym that is open 24/7 from what I understand, definitely nice to have!
We’ve also had good experiences interacting with the other tenants, and have met some cool people here. There’s a wide age range but we've noticed that there’s quite a lot of younger people in their 20s and 30s. You might make some new friends here if that’s what you are looking for!
The only factors that might be a small negative for some people are:
- The apartment complex is in a flight path, so there are planes crossing over it every now and then, however, most people will likely get used to it pretty quickly. We got used to it after a few months and are now not noticing them very much anymore.
- Due to the plentiful trees, there are birds chirping throughout the day, also something that most people will either not mind or get used to, but in the mornings it can get a bit annoying when the windows are open. Also, I'm sure some people would actually enjoy the birds singing.
- There are landscaping noises in the apartment complex and also in the sorrounding area sometimes throughout the week. (Leafblowers etc) Sadly the landscaping people come by on Mondays out of all days, which is a negative but not enough to deduct from the overall rating of this apartment complex, I also don't know how much control the local manager’s office here has over what day the landscaping people show up and how often.
With these three factors in mind, if you are working from home, this apartment complex might not be ideal for you, however, I myself work from home and got used to all of the aforementioned factors. It's really not that big of a deal considering all the benefits of this place.
All in all, I'm happy to say that we can highly recommend this apartment complex!

Just renewed my lease for another year. I’ve lived in a few apartments in my time and this place is by far the best. They are very accommodating and keep the community clean. All the staff and maintenance is friendly and the office is always looking to host fun events for the residents. Thank you for all you do.
