Probably the most painful experience I’ve had with a rental management team in 20 years! Comical Examples Include: (1) They indicated they were unable to accommodate a Saturday move-in date because “they are all off on the weekends” (Me: What?! Really - you must be joking. When else would busy, working professionals move in other than a weekend?!”). (2) They lost my ID and pay slips which were sent in as part of the application process. (3) No parking information was provided at move in and they said they could not help me until someone was back in the office. The response was: I guess you will need to just self-pay until someone else can help you with that. And, when I followed up, I was told I’d have to go to this location to take care of that for yourself. (4) I was given the wrong mailbox info upon move in but resolved that myself. (5) Broken washing machine on day one took a week to repair and they left a bunch of loose screws in the washing machine once they did finally fix it. (6) Best of all - after living there for a month, I received a phone call from a property representative to “follow up on my recent inquiry and visit to their property”. When I shared with her that I was literally sitting in my apartment in her building as a current resident, she was surprised to hear that. LOL Honestly, I am too busy to have to deal with this type of inexperience and unprofessionalism. There are too many other options available in Boise - avoid this place!

I recently moved into Vanguard this last July and the entire process was smooth and easy with the help from the front office! Overall the experience with the office has been great in addition to the location, living conditions, accessibility and much more. Highly recommend looking into Vanguard!
