The first thing you will notice is the severe lack of natural lighting all throughout the apartment, which isn't a huge deal because there are ways to lighten up the space via artificial means. If you are someone with an affinity for sunlight, however, this is the wrong place for you. It is especially depressing during the winter months. Second - sound TRAVELS. Above each bedroom is a very open vent through which you can hear every noise from outside (in the hall) and from most of the rooms. For example, my room is tucked away in the back of the apartment and I can hear pretty much every noise coming from the room situated at the front. Also, it doesn't matter if you have the windows closed - you will still hear everything going on outside. Third... the dreaded utlity bills. I don't say this because they're expensive (although they most probably are). I'm saying this because I don't know how much they actually cost. For months, my roommates and I have called and asked the office about our missing charges, to which they respond: "That's strange. We'll look into it", only to never look into it. For all we know, these bills are piling up someplace in the background, becoming more and more expensive with each passing day. They are also notoriously slow at responding to quieries their tenants may have, which results in a lot of anxiety for college students who are already stressed enough. Additionally, maintenance fees are expensive. My roommates and I placed mantenance orders three separate times: once for a clogged toilet, another for a strange smell coming from our ventilation system, and the third for a blaring smoke detector. Each task took at most a couple minutes - guy came in and unclogged the toilet (-$90), another guy to tell us simply, "That smell is normal; just let it run for a minute or two and it'll go away" (-$90), and another guy to change the detector battery (-$90). And they waited until the end of first semester to tell us of these charges, to tell us that each maintenance order costs NINETY. Not to mention, it took two weeks for the plumbing guy to show up.

Perfect apartment and management, maintenance is often backed up but that's my only complaint!
