I have been living here for a couple of years, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing due to ongoing safety and security concerns. The first major incident involved a husky that is constantly loose around the apartment complex and has attacked my dog. This is especially concerning because the property’s website clearly states that huskies are not allowed. I reported the issue to the office, but it felt like they simply took the report and did nothing to address the situation. During New Year’s, our mailboxes were broken into. Management only sent out an email notifying residents, but nothing else appears to have been done to improve security or prevent it from happening again. On top of that, the gates are frequently left open at night, allowing anyone to enter the complex. It raises the question — how is there any real security if access is so uncontrolled? Most recently, my spare tire was stolen. After multiple incidents, it feels like management does not take residents’ safety seriously. Just because these items don’t belong to them doesn’t mean they shouldn’t care — we are residents paying to live here and expect a secure environment and a leasing team that is responsive to our concerns. I would only recommend living here if safety is not a priority for you. Otherwise, I would strongly suggest skipping this apartment complex to avoid the stress and issues that come with the lack of security.

Really rude managers, they made me pay double for rent by accident, but then because it takes them “5-7 business days” to return it, they refused to pay my overdraft fees after they forced me to pay $1462 for double rent. Rude staff that are only money hungry. Don’t come here if you’re looking to be treated nicely.

Been living here for over a year. We love it. Amazing location, close to everything. Nice and cozy. Just wish they offered 3 bedrooms.

The best living experience in Orange County. This place is like a resort. Friendly people, calm and quiet atmosphere, and amenities galore. We stayed here for almost 2 years and loved every bit of it. Shout out to Leslie from the office for being awesome!

My son and I have lived at Birchwood Village Apartments for about 5 years now. The office personnel have seen my son grow up since he was a baby. They have been very attentive & address concerns/maintenance issues promptly. There are enough laundry facilities to accommodate all residents. Multiple pools, 2 small gyms, handball/basketball/volleyball court area, multiple bbq grills throughout the complex, and perfect location to all your local needs. The schools in the area are also great. Birchwood continues to improve the complex and make it not only safer but a very appealing place to live.
