I recently moved into The Ridge Apartments, and my experience so far has been amazing! From the very beginning, Miranda, the leasing professional, made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with all of my questions — truly going above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.
The property itself feels very welcoming and well taken care of. The community has a great atmosphere, and I can already tell this will be a place I’ll really enjoy calling home. I’m so glad I chose The Ridge Apartments and especially grateful for Miranda’s outstanding help throughout my move-in process!

Moved in this apartment for more than one month, still waiting for regular network…… cannot imagine to live in an apartment where you couldn’t FaceTime, watch videos or take zoom meetings. But here it is…This place just makes life difficult and frustrating. The staff here is unprofessional and unhelpful, they do nothing. This is a popular apartment in town but I am very disappointed and will not recommend it to anyone.

Leasing office deducted rental deposit unfairly for cleaning up that was not discussed prior. Maintenance requests take a lot of time. Gym is small not well equipped
Pros- has a nice park across the street

I lived at The Ridge from July 2024-July 2025 and I waited to write this review in case the property staff decided to attempt to retaliate in any way. I’ll start with the benefits of The Ridge. I think the apartments themselves are physically fine. The rooms are a good size for the price (1bed 1bath ~$960/month) and the maintenance is great. Very nice and courteous maintenance staff. The location is nice because you are close to town without being super close to the traffic and there are multiple bus stops nearby with frequent service. The drawbacks of the Ridge are with the leasing office staff & utility bills. To start, the leasing professionals, KaTricia and Maya (?), need significant improvement in training and knowledge. There were multiple occasions when I would ask about information regarding property such as, transferring leases, move out information, and just general knowledge that the staff should either be aware of, or at least inquire about and not only did they not know the answers, they gave incorrect information instead because it was easier to tell me whatever to get me & my partner out of their office. When confronted about this “misinformation” or “miscommunication” issue, the leasing agents took zero accountability and even admitted to giving me and my partner false information in front of the leasing manager. My suggestion is to talk directly to the property manager, Virginia and by pass the leasing agents completely and document everything in writing. It definitely would have saved my partner and I a lot of frustration and calls. Thankfully Greystar, the property management team, was able to bridge the knowledge gaps and provide clarity and the correct information that The Ridge staff was not. Lastly, the utilities here are not very efficient at all. I put my AC up to 75 for the majority of the day, and then 71 at night, and my utility bills were $170-190 during the warm months and didn’t get below $100 in the winter. My guess is the appliances are not very efficient/ are older models because I checked and my usage was outrages. I lived in a 1bed 1bath down the street my first year and I used half the utilities as I did at The Ridge and I kept my AC at 72 year round. Not sure if I would necessarily recommend The Ridge, but if you decide to sign here I would 100% document and make sure you get information from multiple sources instead of trusting the on property staff at face value. Again, I think the price is great if you live alone, but if you value honesty I would spend a couple extra dollars and live down the street or with roommates. Definitely a lot of options in the College Station area. If you would like to follow up on my review, anyone is more than welcome to reply to this review and I am more than happy to be more specific about anything I have written.

My wife have nothing but good things to say about the Ridge in our time here! The maintenance staff is kind, professional, and fast responders! For example, one morning my friend’s fire alarm was going off at 5-6AM and John came in to fix it as soon as he could. The management at the Ridge are all so helpful and knowledgeable about tenants and information regarding the complex. It’s evident they train their staff well! We’ve never had a problem with random fees or being overcharged.
If you’re looking for an affordable but quality apartment to live in BCS, I highly recommend the Ridge. Being close to Wolf Pen is a great perk too, we often go for walks or go to festivals or concerts on the weekends. As my wife and I transition to a new city, our biggest wish has been to “bring” this apartment complex with us!
