I stayed for one quarter (fall term at OSU) as an exchange student and must say that this place was extremely pleasant!
It has everything you need: large kitchen, bathrooms, common area with lots of stuff (board games, pool table, table tennis and more), backyard, and parking among other things. iHouse is also a very vibrant place with people both from the US and outside. I've met a few good friends here. The owners are very nice and helpful too.
The only problem I could point out is the heating. During the fall term there were some cold days and it was fairly cold in the house (though you could have asked for a heater). Also, this place might be noisy for some folks but it's only a couple of days when there are events like Halloween. iHouse is still a great place to live.

I lived at iHouse for one term while being an exchange student at OSU and I had an unbelievably great time there. It might not be the quietest or cleanliest place to live at but it was the best choice I could have made. The people are very kind, there’s lots of space for studying and partying, and I would definitely recommend iHouse if this is what you’re looking for :)

I really enjoyed living in this house for about three years. It’s not the quietest or the cleanest place, but the people here are incredibly kind and generous. If you run into any kind of problem, don’t hesitate to ask for help—they’ll gladly support you.
I love this house and plan to visit again when I return to the U.S. I gave it 5 stars instead of 4 because if it were perfectly clean and quiet, it wouldn’t feel like the real Corvallis iHouse anymore. It is getting cleaner these days, though, so you might not experience the “authentic” iHouse atmosphere—unfortunately, or maybe luckily!

The iHouse is probably one of the most affordable places to rent in Corvallis. They have term to term leasing which is great for flexibility. People from the U.S. can and do live here; it's a great opportunity for Oregon State students! The house is huge with a great backyard.
They have a pest problem with unaddressed moths, flies, rats, ants, and spiders. Gross communal bathrooms and showers.
On the upside, there's a cool big kitchen with lots of communal cooking supplies and ingredients. I loved how there was usually someone to hang out with or talk to. Plus parties almost every weekend!!
I regret little to nothing about living at the iHouse. It was an awesome experience and I got to know such cool people.

I lived at the iHouse for a year (2020-2021). I really enjoyed my time there, the people I met, and the experiences I made. The house is very large and there is a lot of communal spaces. There is a large kitchen, walk-in fridge, storage rooms, ping pong, pool, foosball tables, dining area, excessive couches, and some other random study/game rooms. There is also a very large basement that is pretty much exclusively used for laundry and parties (helps with the noise a lot). The rooms are meh, nothing to special. Some have more space than others, and they can be a little hit or miss. Overall, they had a bed, desk, closet, some shelfs, but nothing more. I met some amazing people and grew a lot during my time in this house, and I think a majority of the people who have lived here have enjoyed it.
That being said, the house is definitely not for everyone and it isn't some sort of utopia. It really is communal living at the end of the day. There are shared bathrooms, messes get made, everything is not always organized, things are misplaced, and there is always people around the common spaces. The building is also rather old, things break rather frequently, and sometimes the owners take longer than they should to fix it. The structure of the house is very much like anarchy. There is a house manager that lives in the house, but the owners do not live at the house and there are not many rules. The house really is as good as the people living in it will make it.
I met some of the coolest people and many closes friends in the house, along with loads of great memories. I would recommend the house to others, especially international students (very flexible leases and great way to meet other people). Although there are people who just stay in their rooms and stick to themselves, if you don't want to deal with living with others than this is definitely not the place for you.
I saw some pictures posted in another review and felt they were rather unfair. They were taken the morning after a party and having lived in the house for a year I've maybe seen it that dirty once or twice, and it was always cleaned shortly after. The main primary problem with messiness is the kitchen, but the manager does fine those who consistently leave messes. I took some pictures last winter that I feel are a better representation of the day to day conditions in the house.
I hope you find this review useful. Before moving in I was very weary of the place as I heard some bad stories and mixed reviews. Not everything posted by others is wrong and there are compromises that need to be made when living here, but I think myself and the large majority of people enjoyed their stay at the iHouse and overall had a good experience.
