I'm a student and currently looking for housing and the new management has been nothing short of amazing at The Vicinity in assisting me in my search for housing! Thank you to the staff!

Very overpriced and sketchy area. Only good thing is that it’s close to downtown and near campus. Save your money and find somewhere else.

First off the price for rent is something else if you want to live here be prepared to be broke every second of your existence, with no forgiveness on late fees along with threats of eviction after 5 days of rent being due which is ilegal. For how much your paying your really not getting much, there should be laundry washer and drying machines in each unit. But instead they decide to go the with “cheaper option” when I mean cheaper is they built some shitty storage room with broken washing machines that flood the floors and ruin your cloths and made the room feel like your a sauna, not to mention you have to use quarters to pay along with careless security of the room because it was broken into and so none of the machines worked at all meaning I had to go somewhere else to to do laundry. Thankfully and finally they have replaced the washers and dryers and sorta remodeled the room. The apartment unit it’s self is really spacious beside the kitchen counter tops, the so called air condition they have is a fan plugged into the wall in the kitchen they installed when we moved in, like that’s gonna do anything and for heating they supposably have heated ceilings but I’ve yet to see any signs of that when it’s cold it’s cold and when it’s hot it’s hot no changing that really. They have temperature control nobs around the apartment of some sort but they don’t go to anything, no vents… Just to get decent not great wifi it’s 100 bucks along with the electric bill coming in around $150 depending on how many people your rooming with but somethings got to change. Were college student with barely enough to pay for school for cars or life in general other than being super close to OSU’s campus there nothing special about this apartment complex, another thing is the noise, there trains and construction always going on along with people neglecting their pets so they are constantly barking, the Vincinity needs to think about who their renting too and stop trying to scam. Also the management could use some work too.

Recently renovated and beautiful apartments! The front desk lady has been extremely helpful getting us all the information we need to get situated in our new apartment. She manages the whole place and doesn’t mind answering all the countless questions we have & gives us suggestions since we are new to Corvallis. We appreciate her kindness!

Worst experience EVER talking to the landlady. Condescending, rude, and cut me off every time I talked to her. Gets annoyed when asked basic questions. Clearly she has problems and hates her job. I considered this place to live for college but will NOT be looking into this place anymore. I typically don't ever leave reviews, so the fact that I'm not even a tenant and had to leave this review just shows how HORRIBLE this old lady is. She's terrible and doesn't even bother to do the bare minimum of being kind to future tenants. Do NOT think about contacting her unless you want your day ruined. I wish I could give this 0 stars if I could.
