About Off-Campus Housing Near CUNY Lehman College
Lehman College is a senior college of the City University of New York in the Bedford Park section of the Bronx, serving about 15,100 students. Lehman opened its first residence hall, The Lehman Grand, in August 2026. Suites include private bathrooms, and residents share kitchens, study lounges, game rooms and on-site laundry, with free Wi-Fi and 24-hour security. Housing fees cover the furnished room, electricity, water, heat and Wi-Fi. Published rates run roughly $9,000 to $16,000 depending on occupancy and views. Note that IPEDS still reports a dorm capacity figure for Lehman that predates this opening.

Lehman does not require any student to live on campus. With 180 beds against an enrollment above 15,000, the residence hall serves a small fraction of students and is applied for rather than guaranteed. Every other student commutes from home or rents privately.
