Lived here with my husband during grad school, and for being so cheap compared to everywhere else, it was very well taken care of and in a great location. It was spotless when we moved in, and the staff were always very helpful and friendly. Close to UO (8-10 minute bike ride) and a lot of other trails. It can be noisy because the walls are very thin, especially for downstairs residents.

Good location to schools, bus routes, jobs, eats, and convenient store. Shopping is a little ways away. Lots of amenities for the kids. Walking is easy here. Amazon Trail and Park are right over there.

My husband and I just moved out after living here for 3 years during grad school. The apartment was spotless when we moved in and everything worked as it should. Sure, the place is old, but the rent is so affordable compared to everywhere else. The front office is always helpful and any maintenance requests were taken care of quickly. I definitely recommend Spencer View to any UO students who can get a place here.

This is a really nice place! Your neighbor will never call the police and let them write you a $75 citation for just accidentally parked at their spot due to the darkness, and will never told the police that she didn’t see your car before while your car has parked right near hers for three months! Your neighbor downstairs will never complain about the noise simply due to the aging wooden floors but they think it was your responsibility! The management team will never put off your request for repairs for more than one month, and they will never be impatient to listen to your complaints for a harassment case from the roommate. What a NICE place! :)

Highly suggest doing a walkthrough before move out. We lived here for four years & while we loved, cared for, respected, & thoroughly cleaned our apartment, we are now being charged a large amount of money in fees. We neglected to do the walkthrough & are now paying for it greatly. Besides the fees at move out, Spencer View was a great place for us to live as a young family going to school. The proximity to campus, the friendships we made, & the memories our children have here are some of the best.
