When we first toured we wanted to make sure there was no carpet and no chance of getting it. We toured the model which had no carpet and even asked the worker if there was any chance of getting carpet, he informed us that all of the units here were furnished and the only ones not done yet were in the other complex up the street. On move in day we were surprised to see that there was almost all carpet and on top of that carpet with stains and obvious wear and tear. When we spoke to the people that were operating move in they said that they can’t make any promises so keep that in mind when speaking to anyone here. We spent 3 hours renting out a deep cleaning vacuum and cleaning the floors until it went from a dark brown sludge full of ramen noodles and hair to what we thought we could live with. A month in we called maintenance to check in on the carpet as it was receding very quickly and seemed to be coming up. Maintenance took pictures and said they can’t really do anything about it. Two months later our friend stabs their foot on an exposed nail and can’t walk for a couple of days and when I write to them about it they finally give me a call and seem as if they never even knew we had any carpet trouble. They say they can take some looks at our move in photos and see whether we need to pay for the damages or not as they do a very “thorough inspection” (I found an alarming amount of human fingernails in the bedroom so if they can tell me the exact number then I might believe them) and they would get in contact with me the next week about someone coming out to fix it. That was in November. I have yet to receive any calls or any word of this. We have nails and metal exposed that I step on daily and the carpet is only getting worse. If you want to pay 2100 a month for that experience then go ahead, but keep in mind you’re paying the same as someone with a newly furnished place.

The office staff is patient and kind! They seem to genuinely care about the residents. Maintenance works so hard to make sure my work orders are done and if it is an emergency, that is also finished with in the day. They all always look so happy when I come into the office occasionally too! The hold resident events as well and it is so much fun to participate.🥰

I’ve had a great experience living at The Ridge at Clear Creek. This community offers a comfortable and welcoming place to call home, especially if you’re looking for an apartment near NAU and downtown Flagstaff with convenient access to nearby trails and outdoor spaces. Many residents appreciate the quiet atmosphere, nice views, and a range of amenities like a gym, study lounges. What really sets this community apart for me, though, is the front desk staff. Huge shoutout to May and Natalie — they’ve been consistently friendly, professional, and super helpful anytime I’ve come by with questions or requests. It’s clear they care about residents and go above and beyond to make people feel welcome and supported.

If you want to pay for utilities and amenities you never get to use then go here. Paid for a hot tub and never once got to use it in the year I was there because they never repaired it. Gym equipment was broken and never fixed. Everything is outdated and broken. They’ll try and charge you a hefty cleaning and repair fee for things broken and destroyed way before you were there. My air filter hadn’t been replaced in over two years and it made me incredibly sick. There’s miscommunication from the office and if you call to ask about it they will send you in circles until you just give up. It’s close to campus and the units have a nice back porch, so at least there’s that. Maintenance was bad up until the end. If you want something done you have to pester about it. They will close out your repair orders without seeing you. They left nails and screws on the road when doing repairs that punctured my tires. They’re in and out of different management and constantly seem to be having difficulties.

I love living here. The people at the front desk are so nice! They are so helpful when i had confusion about moving in. i am so grateful! I’ve been living here for almost a year now and i have nothing but good words about this place. And the rent is relatively cheap compared to any other student apartments near campus. But even though it is a cheap you get more space, storage, and privacy. Plus i love the nature this apartment complex is surrounded by. I take my dogs on walks through the trails and they are so happy living here compared to other apartments i’ve lived in. The maintenance is quick to reply to my work orders too. My toilet broke and the maintenance crew was there within the hour, cleaned everything up for me and fixed it in a jiffy. Such a kind a funny crew too!
