I lived at University West Apartments 2025 to 2026, and my experience overall was great. The location is very convenient to the I-17, NAU, and several stores. The manager and staff were very friendly, and the maintenance team kept on top of things. The complex is undergoing renovations at the time of this writing; unfortunately, I had to leave Flagstaff for work reasons but hope someday to return. If I do, I am definitely keeping University West Apartments in mind.

if i could leave a negative review i would. i applied to live here last year (ended up living elsewhere) and the only thing i ever signed was an agreement to pay the APPLICATION fee which was paid upon applying. they sent bills (from a random real estate group they use, that when you look up online shows no connection) saying i owed $500 in moving out fees! i never moved in! i called twice and they said to ignore it, then i got debt collection mail. called the front desk and the girl who answered was incredibly rude and said she couldn't do anything after it was sent to collections (which is not how collections works). when i asked her name she hung up immediately and ignored every subsequent call. incredibly unprofessional on top of trying to charge for fees that were not agreed upon.

Probably the worst place to live, may hidden fees not mentioned when signing PLUS they are now telling us that we have to move out within a month and move all of our stuff to another unit so they can change the stairs/add decks. I was never told this when moving in however it seems my neighbors have known for months?? Absolutely ridiculous. If you ever think about moving here DONT find another place there are much better places to go. I have tried to go to the leasing office in the past and they are usually there about 50% of the time, the other 50% there is a sign saying that they are not open (during their hours of operation). We also legally have documents allowing our SERVICE ANIMALS to live with us but they block it by making us do paperwork that brings no solutions. Worst place I have ever lived find another place.

I have lived here almost a year, and plan on renewing my lease. If there have ever been issues, the management staff is quick to get the mainantence team on it and the issues are resolved PROMPTLY. The team here has been absolutely fantastic! Recently they have added equipment to our gym making our amenities wonderful for where we live. If anyone is considering UW Apartments I would highly recommend it here!

I gave this community because I CANNOT give them zero I live here since Aug, 2018 I realized the door is cannot be used anymore, it's looks awful, and the water enters to my apartment during raining and snowing days!! I call the office many times and no one respond to me (brown color door) FINALLY, the maintenance came to me and start to replace the old door with a new one in 5/7/2019.. they start and did not finish yet. Today date is 5/31/2019., and they still not complete their work. The new door don't even have a fish-eye lens to see who is came to my door, How can be safe If I am not knowing who is knocking my door? I am already planning to move in next month, so I don't really care about the door that take almost a year to replace, but that's disrespectful. if you want to have a good place to live in with a good management then find another place.
