These apartments are great. I've had a really good experience here and just renewed my lease! The apartments are huge considering the rent (i live in a 3 bed 3 bath) -- you get your own bathroom, a big walk in closet, and your room of course on top of the shared space, and my rent is much cheaper than friends who have a lot less space. The in-unit washer and dryer is amazing, as well as the fact it comes with furniture. Yugo (or my building at least) is very quiet and I've never had issues with people having loud parties nearby. It's also right next to a couple around the horn bus stops which is great for CSU students -- it's saved me like $400 on a parking pass this year. Management is also great, but don't let them pressure you into signing your lease sooner than you want. They've fixed any maintenance requests day of, and are super helpful when you have any questions or need to get packages, ect. And i have no incentive to write this review, i genuinely just really recommend these apartments to anyone who needs a space in fort collins :)

I highly recommend Yugo Grove Apartments for anyone attending CSU. The community is well-managed, and the office staff are incredibly supportive and responsive. Special praise to the manager, Kathleen - she truly goes above and beyond to help residents and make the experience positive. Living here has been a great decision, and I’d definitely recommend it to other students.

I’ve lived in an upgraded unit for 1.5 years and have had a good overall experience here. The leasing office staff are nice, and the on-site maintenance team is super helpful and completed my requests very quickly. The unit itself is pretty good and spacious enough.
However, when I first moved in, the unit had not been cleaned, and I had to request cleaning services. They came quickly, but even after the cleaning, many black stains and dots remained on the surfaces, which I believe were caused by the previous resident smoking inside the unit. I was tired at the time, so I didn’t complain further, but honestly, I still wish the unit had been made perfectly clean.
Later, when I requested pest control services due to an ant problem in my room, the leasing office didn’t communicate properly, even though I emailed them several times asking for updates. I’m still not sure whether they actually followed through (it seems they may have forgotten to schedule the off-site pest control). For now, the ants have disappeared, so I don’t need to reorder service, but the whole situation was stressful.
Also, staff entered my unit multiple times during the renewal season and once forgot to lock the door, leaving it unlocked for about six hours, which was very careless. In addition, construction went on all day and continued late into the night—even on weekends during the renewal season.
This place is a good option for people new to town. The rent is affordable, the location is great, and there is plenty of free parking for residents. However, it’s not the best choice for those looking for a quiet environment.

I already left a review when I first moved here one year ago, but I have switched my unit to a renovated one since then and would like to provide additional insight!
The renovated unit is absolutely amazing and definitely worth the extra money. I appreciate how the floors are a nice birch color instead of a boring gray like many other modern apartments implement– it makes it a lot easier to create a cozy space. I also love the white countertops and tile backsplash on the kitchen, and the updated appliances (especially the electric stovetop) have been amazing to work with. It’s been incredibly fun to decorate!
I love how many amenities we have that’s included in the price, especially free parking and a convenient in-unit washer and dryer. Additionally, I’m always impressed by how nice and understanding the office and maintenance staff are, and it really shows that they care about your experience while living here. I definitely recommend this apartment to any student looking for a new place.

I’ve loved the Groves so far! I think the pros far outweigh the few cons which is why I’m giving it 5 stars.
My experience has been amazing so far. I love the fact that we have our own washer/dryer and dishwasher. The furniture that came with our unrenovated 2-bedroom was WAY better than I was expecting. The Groves also allows a lot of customization, so I’m able to add a lot of decorations a lot of other apartments wouldn’t allow. However, I have been unable to put up curtains in the living room because the wall is brick— it’s worked in other bedrooms though.
Management has been amazing, especially regarding shipping. They helped carry heavy packages to my car when I couldn’t do it myself. The staff loved my two kittens when I brought them to the front desk and getting my ESA accepted by them was a breeze. I adore how pet-friendly the apartment is, because I love animals and my apartment has a lot of dogs I get to pet! The area surrounding it is also beautiful and amazing for walks. There’s a lot of dog waste stations too.
Parking is really good and my building has a parking lot behind it that makes it really easy to get to my room. You might have to parallel park depending on your building, though.
I have recommended the Groves to two people who live here now and I will continue recommending it! I can see myself living here for the next 2 years I’m at CSU.
