I love living here at the Slate Apartments of Fort Worth.
They worked with me to get an apartment and the apartment managers are the best, they're professional and very nice folks!
Maintenance always does a great job!
I have good neighbors and after coming home from working all day long , I am able to peacefully rest without disturbances.

They will keep your entire security deposit despite your refund amount being established on your move-out statement. When you ask for it after 2 months, they’ll say they asked corporate but never follow up, then refuse to respond after 3 months. Going on 4 months since move out.

Maintenance staff is friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, property management seems to prioritize their own interests over the well-being of tenants. Communication and support leave much to be desired.
While my move to Texas had nothing to do with needing a second chance, I can say that this property is not one I’d recommend to anyone. Major issues include holes in the walls across rooms, gaps in the flooring, and a significant pest problem that management has failed to address adequately.
On a positive note, they’ve made improvements to the outdoor areas, but the pest situation inside is overwhelming and unacceptable.
Unless you have a guaranteed plan to leave without hassle, I’d strongly advise against staying here.

Do NOT live in this apartment! When my husband and I first moved in we were supposed to be getting a newly remodeled apartment the water didn't work for the entire weekend when we first moved in, our food pantry and closets were full of black mold (management didn't do anything even after being told about the black mold) including the dishwasher that is still hanging out of the wall and doesn't work. The office manager Wanda is awful she will pick fights with you and turn around and talk about her residence in the most belittling way. Her office worker is far from professional, when you have residents coming in and saying they don't have hot water for over a week and then you ask "well what's the problem?" is and then turn around and start yelling at the residence and trying to pick fights with them is very unprofessional and then not apologizing for her unprofessional behavior. Her cousin also lives with her and likes to follow around female residents trying to sell drugs to them. The maintenance that works there as well is very unprofessional they have no maintenance training and extremely rude to women and like to run their mouths to women yet when a grown man approaches them they run off. They also still allow three aggressive dogs to go into the dog park one who has attacked my trained and certified ESA and still allowed her to continue walking the dogs around the area and still allowed them to continue harassing us, she likes to let go of the leash a lot with two big dogs. There's also a homeless man that sleeps in the parking lot in his truck and sells drugs outside of the truck to some of the residents. This apartment complex is not safe for raising a family. Or safe for women living alone.

I have been a resident for 2 years. This is a great location, it’s close to food stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is pretty quiet at night. I have no problems with pests. What I love the most are the private balconies. The manager Toni is awesome, I can go to her for anything. I love these apartments!
