The thing that makes Hillside good is that it's an actual community. Concerns or needs are listened to and addressed. Mrs. Fahey treats you like a real person and not a number. After searching for months for any halfway decent apartments in San Diego, I was lucky enough to come across Hillside. Being a good neighbor and good tenant is what matters here and the treatment is reciprocated by the management. Would recommend!

Lived here for the past 2 years and Kim has been so helpful at every stage of being there. From applying, moving in, answering questions, holding packages in the office for us when we were out of town, helping us move to a bigger unit, and our recent move out process. She's always been easy to talk to and personable- myself and others would make a point to speak with her if we saw her walking the complex. Staff is quick with answering emails. Maintenance is suepr fast also, I've had Mike show up within 30 minutes of me making an online request, and quickly found a solution when an element in my freezer went bad. I don't know the name of the newest Maintenance man who works with Mike, but I had a trash bag bust in the parking lot on my way to the dumpster. He saw it happen, refused to let me pick up my own mess, and quickly took care of the trash- great guy!

Kim is a gem! She gave me a great experience in choosing my apartment and helped with all the information that was needed to secure and accommodate me with applying. I know that I have chosen the right fit for me! Thank you Kim!!

Kim has been a great help from the very beginning of our move. Everything went smoothly without any complications, thanks to her support. She was always available to assist with anything we needed, and she consistently went above and beyond. Kim is professional and very sweet and truly a pleasure to communicate with. Manager Kim has been amazing since our first day of move in. My family and I have been living there for awhile and Kim has been so genuine and kind. The maintenance team is also great and quick to respond!
