Worst apartment experience ever. Do NOT live here. It’s been almost two months since my lease ended, and I still haven’t received my security deposit back. What’s worse is that no one is taking any responsibility for it. The apartment manager keeps saying “it’s not my job” and tells me to contact corporate. Corporate doesn’t respond to emails, and when I call, they only let me leave voicemails — I’ve never received a single call back. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Why should I have to chase down my own money after moving out? Avoid this place at all costs. You’ll regret ever signing a lease here.

Unacceptable Management and Safety Issues – Strongly Discourage Living Here My roommate and I have lived in this building for six months, and unfortunately, our experience has been overwhelmingly negative. We are both reasonable and understanding tenants, but the consistent mismanagement and lack of concern for residents have made this place incredibly frustrating and stressful to live in. We initially chose this building because of an attractive holiday promotion—discounted rent and free parking for a year. While the amenities are basic, we accepted that as part of the value deal. However, it has become clear that even with the promotional rate, the tradeoff is not worth it. Lack of Communication and Management Presence There appears to be only one person managing the entire building, and she is frequently unreachable. During emergencies, we have waited hours for a response. In one instance, the entry system and garage access codes were changed without any prior notice. The manager claimed an email had been sent, but we never received one—only to find out later that our emails weren’t even added to the tenant mailing list until six months into our lease. This communication breakdown left us unable to exit the garage for hours, disrupting our day completely. When we finally received an email about the change, it lacked critical context—especially concerning if these changes were made in response to a serious security issue. We’ve repeatedly asked for clarification and still haven’t received a response. Meanwhile, weekly fire alarm disruptions continue without any warning or explanation. No Onsite Maintenance Our refrigerator broke just two months into our lease, right after we had fully stocked it with groceries. Despite reporting it immediately, we waited four days for a replacement and had to throw out all our food. There was no compensation offered. What we weren’t told during move-in is that maintenance only comes once a week, meaning urgent issues will remain unresolved for days. Unreliable and Inaccessible Support Every phone number associated with this building routes to the same property manager, who rarely answers. Even the “emergency” contact is just her personal cell phone. There is a leasing office in the building, but it is always locked and inaccessible to residents. There is no backup staff, no alternate point of contact—only one person who is consistently unavailable. Security Concerns and Package Theft While the building advertises having a security guard on-site four days a week, we have never seen this person. Attempts to reach the listed security contact have gone unanswered. Additionally, package theft is a regular issue. Management occasionally texts tenants about packages left in the lobby, but if you don’t retrieve yours immediately, it will likely be stolen. We’ve had packages go missing after waiting just two hours. Noise Issues The building is adjacent to a restaurant that frequently plays loud music late into the night—even on weekdays. Combined with thin walls and noise from neighbors, it’s difficult to get a quiet night’s rest. Filing noise complaints with LAPD hasn’t helped, and again, the building’s so-called security presence is nonexistent. In short, this building is poorly managed, unsafe, and unresponsive to tenant needs. While promotional pricing may be appealing, it does not compensate for the complete lack of communication, maintenance delays, unresolved safety concerns, and overall disregard for residents’ well-being. I strongly advise against renting here. Peace of mind, safety, and reliable communication are not things you can compromise on—and sadly, none of those are prioritized in this building.
