The leasing agent, Rylee, is the best! Entry into the apartments was an easy process. I had lots of issues on my side, like whether I was going to have a second person on the lease, but she managed that well. I got a single room without an oven, and I really like it. It has plenty of room. There is a lightswitch that appears to do nothing, but seems to turn the current on for some power outlets.
The only downsides are expensive utilities and $50/month for trash pickup from the door. My trash has been left out for nearly a week several times. This latest time, only one trash bag was picked up and my box of garbage was left. I see lots of people going to the dumpster area themselves to throw their trash away, and it sucks how the money isn't used right. Utilities are also 300+/month for a single person apartment, which is on the more expensive side for Ogden.
Overall, I really love the Bigelow. The staffing are easy to reach, friendly, and assistative. The prime location in downtown around transit systems is also a huge plus.

The AC doesn’t regularly work and has broken on average 5~ times a month. The water gets turned off randomly at least once a month. One of the elevators breaks all the time so only one is reliably functional. The laminated wood flooring is chipped and cracked in most areas. They don’t reliably plow the parking garage entrance/exit when it snows and there have been several accidents because of it. And they’re charging you $1700 after utilities/trash/electrical/water for a one bedroom apartment and this lovely experience.

We moved out of state site unseen & we’re completely lied to by Bobby who proceeded to talk to us like we were idiots but then wanted pity when called out. We were told we’d have a renovated apartment & arrived to a 450sqft with no stove & a foot of counter space. Nowhere to put dishes. Yellow walls & old carpet. One window thru out the entire “apartment” that didn’t close all the way & we were told we were lucky the window opened. The a/c only worked a 3rd of time our year there & our apt was always between 80 & 90 degrees. Out of 3 elevators only one worked. The entire building smells like urine. There is dog poop everywhere that no one cleans up. They charge you $25 for valet trash that is picked up whenever they feel like it. The ceilings in the stairway were collapsing. The building was constantly broken into & homeless sleep in the lobby. The building is inhabitable yet they charge over $1k base rent for the apartment we were in. They charged for parking & the parking garage isn’t structurally sound. The management company is AMC & I would recommend never renting under them.

Waking to a window view of snow covered mountains made our stay at this historic hotel even sweeter.
Upon a near Midnight arrival on Christmas day, the staff was super friendly and quick to help. Our Queen suite not only had a very comfortable bed, but there was even a full size sofa pull out bed. The decor of the hotel brought visions of luxury accommodations from an era long gone by, yet the updates in convenience and technology were readily available as well.
I don't know if you've seen how much hair I have, but the water pressure and shower head could clean even the most surly beings. Our digs even had a jetted tub!
The Bigelow will now be at the top of my list of places to stay in the Salt Lake City area!

This is a Historic hotel. Beautiful interior lobby. The nightly rooms are spacious. There are also residents rooms. (I didn't get to see any of them.) Beautiful views from the rooms. We liked the hotel so much we stayed an additional two nights. They serve breakfast too in the morning. Yummy!
