I lived here for a year and had a great experience until the end of my lease. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: 1. I loved the area - right near the mountains, Smiths, Costco, cute neighborhoods to walk through, and ponds nearby. It was very quiet. 2. My unit was in very good condition and only had a couple minor issues during the full year. I loved the large balcony and natural light in my unit. 3. Management was reachable by text and was good about helping me that way. 4. The jacuzzi was great in the winter and the gym was a plus. Cons: 1. Management charged me $325 for cleaning despite leaving my apartment spotless (I even scrubbed the baseboards/outdoor patio/got every possibly mark off the walls - if that gives you an idea). They take this out of the initial security deposit instead of refunding any of it. In my opinion, I should not be charged for a standard cleaning turnover procedure when the place was left incredibly clean with only the expected wear/tear. Management was not accommodating when these points were brought up at the end of my lease. 2. Management was only in the office during working hours and often came/left early. As a busy working adult, this made it tricky to get ahold of someone in person. Other apartments I’ve lived at had weekend hours/are open until 6pm. 3. For a two person apartment, you have to do a shared lease. Having a shared lease with my non-family roommate made for a lot of headaches. I didn’t love being charged more for a parking spot because my roommate already had one on our lease. I also didn’t love only being given one fob and having to pay for another one. I also didn’t love that the master bedroom/bathroom is bigger despite initially coming across as being equal in size. Many Weber students live in the apartment, so having identical rooms in a two bed would make more sense financially as well. 4. There was a mid-lease confusion with the parking garage where some spots were being double-booked. Although management was accommodating, i felt that no one knew how to resolve the issue. I also didn’t appreciate getting a note in my parking spot from another resident and seeing someone else park in my spot after a long day at work.
