The Green on Campus Drive | Orem, UT

Location

The Green is right across the street from the UVU campus. Literally right across the street. Not only is it right next to UVU, it’s only a 10-15 minute drive from BYU campus. Since it’s located in the direct middle of Orem, you’ll never be left wanting anything. Walmart is right next door (a quick lil’ 3-minute drive), as is Sodalicious, Krispy Kreme, University Mall, and JOANN Fabric and Crafts (could come in handy for a Bob Ross night).

If you don’t have a car, don’t fret. The UTA bus system is just a few blocks away from The Green on Campus Drive, so transportation will never be an issue. If you aren’t fretting about transportation because you have a car, but are fretting about finding parking for that said car, you can tone that fret down because the fretting is futile (did we say fret too much?). They got you covered with parking. Literally. There is a free covered parking garage for all Green residents. Finding a parking spot after coming home from the hot springs at 2:00 in the morning will no longer be a wistful dream, but a reality. One of the residents said:

There is always parking in the garage and it is super close to the UVU campus.

Couldn’t be nicer than that.

Floor Plans

There are several different floor plans to fit your needs. Four different ones to be exact. The available options are studio, 2-bed, 3-bed, and 4-bed. Each floor plan is designed with open living spaces, and because it was built in 2020, this isn’t a dumpy apartment. Everything is brand new, and management is great at keeping the place up to date.

Amenities

You definitely won’t be left wanting for good amenities when you live here. The Green on Campus Drive made it their priority to make sure residents have something fun to do if they want to. Sometimes it’s nice to just curl up in your room with a book, but if you’re wanting something to do around the complex, the on-site amenities include:

Social Scene

One of the biggest advantages of living at The Green on Campus Drive is its (as I mentioned earlier) fire social scene. The complex host’s regular events and activities for residents, such as movie nights, pool parties, and assorted  tournaments (cornhole, volleyball, ping-pong, etc.) This creates a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to meet new people and make friends. If you’re more of a partier, don’t worry, there is definitely no shortage of that. Here’s what some of the residents said:

This is a very social place to live! People are always playing volleyball, pickleball, or hot tubbing! They do have fun parties at the hot tubs on the weekends too!

Another one said,

The Green is very social. There are always party flyers taped to everyone’s doors. On the weekends the pool area is always packed and there are lots of people walking around the area.

Also,

Get-togethers are hosted FREQUENTLY. Very good! I think it helps that UVU is nearby, so UVU RCLs host many things in association with The Green. Lots of partying unrelated to UVU-hosted get-togethers.
