I recently visited West Side Apartment Homes, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Judith, the assistant manager. She made the entire experience easy, clear, and stress-free. From the moment I walked in, Judith was warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She walked me through the contract details in a way that was simple to understand, answering every question with patience and confidence. Her apartment tour was just as impressive—she pointed out all the important features, explained the community amenities, and gave honest insights that helped me feel sure about my decision. It’s clear she truly cares about helping people find the right home. If you’re considering moving to West Side Apartment Homes, ask for Judith. She’s exceptional at what she does and makes the whole process smooth from start to finish

We went in today to see a apartment they had for rent. I will say Melissa was awesome. Very friendly and upbeat. Anyway, I was apprehensive because of the reviews mentioned this complex had a huge cockroach problem. Well sure enough, on the corner of the living room floor was a cockroach and in the kitchen sink were about 4 or 5 German cockroaches. Poor Melissa didn’t say much as she seemed used to these types of responses from people.

I have been living here for three months, and I have enjoyed it for the most part. These apartments are old so they require a lot of repairs but let me just say that Kevin on the Maintenance team is amazing. His customer service is top-tier and I can always count on him to get the job done CORRECTLY. These aren’t the nicest or newest apartments in the area but the team I have to fix anything when it’s wrong is the best.

My leasing agent was Cardia and she was magical! She informed me of the specials going on. She was patient with me in showing me multiple units in one day and was really knowledgeable as well. I look forward to my stay here and hope it continues being so blissful.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.  This is the worst apartment I've ever lived in. ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES. I never knew just how many types of roaches existed until living here. Not only was our apt unit disgusting when we moved in, but we also had to deal with a roach infestation that did not get any better with any of the treatments that management provided. The pictures are just some of the highlights from when we moved in. Upon move out, management charged $250 for a single pane window glass replacement about 3'x4' in size.  The average cost in Dallas to replace a single pane glass in a window is $50-$200. I already don't feel as if the rent here matches the terrible quality, so being over charged for this is just plain insulting. My water was brown every time I turned on my bath tub... video attached. The smells that came into the unit from the other units was so atrocious that a good quality ac filter, air purifier, fabreeze plug-ins, and candles couldn't even combat it. Also, management pays out incentives for good reviews which is the only reason there are so many good reviews here. I was so confused after moving in since the reviews for this complex are so high. Once I started seeing the signs/emails for incentives for good reviews, I finally understood that I had been swindled.
