4.5 Stars, really. We have enjoyed our 3 years living at Goat Blocks and appreciate the care that's given to maintaining a clean, safe and engaging environment for residents. We've had great experiences with leasing staff, facilities/maintenance staff, and neighbors.
The location is good, the appliances are new and work, the buildings are secured, and the leasing office is well-staffed. They have good systems in place that I admit, May not always work perfectly for everyone, but they try. And these days, that means something to me.

My partner moved here and I’m not impressed. Rent is too high for what it is. Hallway walls are covered in filth and the hallway carpeting is heavily stained. Unsure if maintenance staff exists as work request are not attended to. Door system is not great, would be much better if they had ButterflyMX to make guests’ entry easier. Another issue with the hallways, is the rancid odor of coming from the trash room. I’ve never smelled anything that stomach churning in my life, wouldn’t be shocked if that odor and lack of ventilation is code violation. Fixtures and finishes in the apartment itself appear very cheap. The flooring peels up. Holes in wall from previous occupant poorly patched. Unit is minuscule and lackluster for what is being paid. Conservice is looking to be higher than they told my partner it would be. A few abysmal amenities. Sidewalks surrounding building smell of urine. Concessions are on par with a lot of other places in area and that’s how they get people. Modera Morrison or Windsor Buckman would be better bang for the buck.

As someone who was constantly moving year after year, I have finally found the space for me. As a matter of fact, I'm nearing my 4th year living here.
I personally enjoy living in the neighborhood because of its conveniences. From the grocery store in the corner, to the public transportations, multiple food trucks, restaurants, coffee shops and the very large dog park near by. The area has enough foot traffic, not too busy and not too quiet.
As I think through out the years, I've never really had much issues living here. Management for the most part are helpful and they do their best to make us feel comfortable if there are any inconveniences. Overall the pros tower over the cons. I'd recommend anyone to try this place out.

I am moving out of Goat Blocks after 3 years and wanted to share what my experience living here. I really enjoyed:
-Large windows letting in natural light
-Clean community areas
-Quick and friendly maintenance and office team
-Central location
-Overall building security
-Overall clear communication to the residents. If you bring an issue forward you can rest assured knowing someone will respond and let you know a plan of action in handling it within a timely manner
-Great rooftop (especially to watch the sunsets)
The only thing that was a downside at times was when the parking matrix would go down. That is not the fault of anyone (they would work to fix it asap), but when you need your car it can put you in a tricky situation.
Overall, just wanted to say thanks!

We have only been here a few months but have really enjoyed the apartment, it’s layout and features, and its location. Most of the appliances seem almost new. If we could, the one thing we would improve would be the degree of noise conduction through the walls and the ceiling. That would’ve had to be done in construction so nothing to do about it at this point.
The staff both in the office and maintenance have been extremely responsive and helpful and we would rate them top notch.
The common spaces inside are kept reasonably clean and maintained considering that an awful lot of dogs live here.
The neighborhood is not quiet – it borders on an industrial area but the trade-off is that there are lots of pubs and restaurants easily reached by walking.
We have used the outdoor roof garden and the barbecues provided and enjoyed them. Residents can pick free produce when it is in season from the garden.
A really fun place to live. Just wish I were younger and not so noise sensitive.
