Lived here for 3 years. Overall I love it. Maintenance is great and most neighbors are chill and just keep to themselves. Any emergency I’ve had has been addressed and fixed quickly. Kray, who has been working here for decades, is awesome. He is friendly and makes me feel like I’m more a part of the community than just another tenant. Occasional issues with people parking in spots they haven’t paid for which can be frustrating, and there’s no way to actually get them towed out of your spot since calling the tow line they need the complex owners credit card info to pay for the tow. So that’s stupid. They should bill the car owner.
I just, for the life of me, cannot understand who thought that painting the gutters of the buildings LIME green a few weeks ago would do anything positive to the look of the complex. As a real estate professional, I confirmed this with several of my colleagues to ensure it wasn’t just my opinion. It looks terrible, terribly cheap, and is a waste of resources. There are plenty of porches that I see needing holes or structural things repaired, which seem like it would have been a much better use of time and money to invest in the people already living here as opposed to trying to do different things to draw in new tenants. Only other issue is having to pay $40 a month in “utilities” when we also pay separately for sewer, water, and electricity. $40 a month for trash pick up is a lot considering there are 48 units and two dumpsters.
Again, overall positive experience living here with some room for improvement. I am terrified of the move out process, whenever that happens, after seeing so many awful reviews on confusing or unwarranted post move out fees. We shall see!

Wow, Reading the reviews stopped me in my tracks. I toured the property a few months ago, and thought some things looked unkept and the apartmentwas a bit funky, but I was told they were doing some remodeling. So, I didn't think too much of it. But no way! Thank you for the reviews!

Princeton is a horrible management company. They entered my apartment without posting notice to enter. They refuse to work with you for anything. Their staff is condescending and rude. Don't move in here if you like your things to work on move in. My bath tub cold water knob has been leaking since I moved in. They didn't re key my apartment until I had already lived here over 2 months so I couldn't lock my dead bolt. They leave vacant units open overnight so anyone can access them if they wanted to. They don't carry space keys in their key box. This company is a joke

My roommate and I paid every month on time for years and we never received complaints. We were good tenants. I spent a week scrubbing down the apartment when we moved out and we received a “turn over cleaning” invoice saying we owed over $200. It’s not specified in our lease agreement that they can charge us for that for anything beyond normal wear and tear and unless the carpet is involved. We never got an itemized bill explaining what we were being billed for exactly and we have asked multiple times and it’s been months since we moved out. We never received any further communication from them despite us reaching out multiple times. We have received collections notices now and it’s really disappointing from a perspective of basic principle since we tried our best to follow the rules and we always paid rent but they won’t explain why we’re being charged for something. They’re not following tenant rights laws since they haven’t provided an itemized bill. We just want to know what we’re paying for within or outside of our lease agreement. Be wary of this property management company.

Update: I moved out in February of 2024, and in February of 2025 I got a collections notice from Moreland Place, with no contact and they legit never answered any of my calls or e-mails. This place is trash.
I pay for parking, and the predatory tow company they have patrol the lot didn’t see that tag I had displayed and towed my car in the middle of the night. $381, and it’s my loss.
Ridiculous for paid, and assigned parking with the car I have registered.
Really sad to have this happen and raise rent in the same few months.
Not to mention, lack of management and communication, mold issues and noisy neighbors.
Moved out:
Called and they said I owed them a bunch of utilities and damage fees.
Never received any paperwork, or items listed that needed repaired and no paperwork at all was given. I tried to email and call and never got a reply about the details.
