This has been an extremely frustrating experience. For months, multiple packages have been stolen from this building. I also reported that the locker room door does not lock properly — I even showed photos proving that anyone can open it. I politely brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, an Asian lady working at the desk. Unfortunately, she showed zero interest in resolving the issue. She repeatedly told me that “everything is fine” and that residents should just manually close the door themselves, completely dismissing the problem. There was no effort to investigate, escalate, or take responsibility. This level of negligence toward residents’ safety and property is unacceptable. I truly hope the owner or management sees this review and takes action, because the current approach is not working. *Update Have mini bar and shelter in the elevator welcome to the yard

Been living here for a few years now and to be honest it’s not great. Tried to like this place but it never seems to get any better. Poor building maintenance, security that pretty much doesn’t exist, management that doesn’t do anything, garage thefts almost every week, packages stolen, the list goes on. They advertise it as elevated apartment living but there’s nothing elevated about this place at all.

I toured Yard Apartments and had such a great experience that I didn’t want to forget to leave a well-deserved review. I ultimately didn’t lease because my job ended up relocating me farther away than expected, but I have to highlight the amazing service I received while I was there. There was a very tall, brown-skinned assistant manager her name might have been Monica? who truly went above and beyond. I walked in on a Saturday, and it was clear she was extremely busy, yet she immediately stopped what she was doing and treated my frantic last-minute apartment search with so much care and focus. She listened closely to what I needed, answered every question confidently, and brought a sense of relief I didn’t even realize I needed. The tour was fun, informative, and memorable, and I’ll definitely keep Yard in mind if I ever end up working in PDX again.

I went through several estates before choosing to live here. The scenery is always great, either by the riverside or facing Mount Hood. The management team are very professional and friendly. I got my aircon and dishwasher repaired right on the same day with my work request. The neighbors are also very friendly. My favorite moment is to wake up by the dawn, and watching sunset at the common office area. It is a totally a therapeutic experience to live here.

The entire staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and resourceful with my move. Especially Dominic who helped me navigate all the move in processes online via email and virtually! He really sold me on my apartment and was an excellent ambassador for Yard. I am so pleased with all the services, amenities and the beauty of the building and views! I am born and raised in Portland and I wouldn't look any further than Yard for a updated true to Portland community. We all know the staff are really what make a place and Dominic and all the staff make this a great place to live. I highly recommend Yard. Ask for Dominic!
