Don't expect your safety deposit back. I spent a day and a half cleaning before I moved out and still got a $175 fine. The apartments desperately need to be remodeled. I couldn't stand up straight in the shower. The floor in the hallway was warped. The kitchen was too small,

and there was no storage space. I couldn't get maintenance to take care of any issues in a timely manner. Rent just went up this year, so it's not even cheap anymore. The only upside to living here is the ward.

Before living in centennial, I had never seen the true embodiment of evil. I was so naive then. Centennial is WAY too strict about their cleaning checks. To the point where when they said “we want you to pass your cleaning checks as much as you do” I actually laughed

out loud. One time they failed my entire apartment on a no recheck because we forgot to dust our air vents. I was with the cleaning check person and she didn’t let me take six seconds to dust my air vent. During the final cleaning check I heard that most people were failing and being charged $75. I probably failed too because they avoided doing the check while I was there, probably so it would be easier to fail me on something BS. When they hosted activities it felt like a birthday party from an abusive parent. I would never recommend someone live in centennial. The apartments themselves are serviceable haha

Check-in process was good. Directions were a little confusing. Signs of arrows could’ve been bigger. Floors of apartment weren’t vacuumed or swept and carpet had a gooey spill that didn’t look to be cleaned. But overall good experience and pretty simple.

DO NOT LIVE HERE The apartments were fine, but the white glove cleaning checks were completely unreasonable. Escpecially the least cleaning check. They give you a list of things to clean but then they are sure to fail you anyway just to collect $75 to pay someone to clean the apartment.

This would be fine if the apartments were scarily clean upon move in. THEY ARE NOT. How on earth to they expect a 30 year old building to look brand new? The apartments are not that clean when you move in. I could not recommend this complex as a place to live. I felt like I was just a walking money punching bag for them to hit whenever they felt like they needed a quick buck. The peasants under King Noah were living a better life than I was under the reign of centennial . I would even say colonists under King George were living a better life than I wa. If the management was more transparent I would not have to be so extreme, but I was unfairly treated by a faceless management company that does not care about the best interest of students. BYU should not allow freshmen to live here.

We just dropped our granddaughters off this week! Updated rooms and nice facilities. It’s what you would expect for college living. I know they are safe and that makes me feel really good. BYU is right up the road and they are excited! 😊
