residency and truly reflects the supportive environment at Park Place. This outstanding service has given us full confidence in choosing Park Place as our long-term home for our college years, and we feel deeply grateful to be part of a community where residents are genuinely prioritized. Please also note that while there are negative reviews, if you treat staff with kindness and respect, they will go above and beyond to exceed expectations. Any minor challenges we met were promptly addressed in the most professional manner. Even in the instance where it was our error-staff worked to help rectify the issue with care giving us space and grace-thank you!
see morefor all your money if you want to have pets or if you have minor marks left in your room when you move out. They charge you an obscene amount of money for anything and everything, and you have to beg and plead plus proof if you’re not the problem to potentially not be charged. Plus they have a ton of extra furniture to replace any of the furniture that might have slight damage so they are just wringing money out of you cause they can. I’m disappointed in this place and do not recommend at all, there are cheaper better options that aren’t going to feel like you’re being stolen from. Side note, you can have multiple roommates and be paying over $1000 for a room and one small, shared fridge. It’s not worth the closeness to campus and there’s so many other problems like the parking garage, trash everywhere (despite the kind and hardworking cleaning staff) and so much more. Take your money elsewhere and protect your mental health.
see morewas that the property is marketed as “student housing,” but anyone can live here, not just students. This led to safety concerns during a very stressful time — finals week — when a new roommate was moved into our unit. The new tenant ended up having multiple health conditions, including bipolar depression, impulse control disorder, epilepsy, and autism. On their first night, they called 911, which kept me up all night and caused a lot of stress. They also began knocking on my bedroom door repeatedly, and this continued throughout the week. I no longer felt safe or able to focus in my own home. I left and moved back home early due to this which is unfortunate. My family and I contacted the leasing office multiple times. The front office people are super nice. Totally not there fault. But unfortunately, we were told that due to housing regulations, they could not ask the new roommate to leave — and instead, the only option was for the rest of us to transfer units, even though we were not the ones who had any issues on record. While I understand fair housing laws exist to protect tenants, it felt like our safety and peace of mind were not prioritized. I ended up filing a police report due to the repeated disturbances and for documentation of what was happening. It was a very hard time, especially during school finals. Additionally, several maintenance issues were ongoing: doors and gates were frequently broken, and it would take weeks to get repairs completed. Besides those issues I enjoyed my time there.
see moreare not the leasing staffs fault, or at least the staff on property. The maintenance team is absolutely spectacular they work their ass off to keep the building running. Unfortunately Park7 as a whole has some serious issues, including but not limited to serious corporate greed, an issue with outsourcing almost all the building maintenance making repairs take forever, and the people in the office having no real control over what happens in the building, even though they are the ones living there and see day to day what needs to be done to optimize the building. Once again, the on property staff is great, they work very hard but the biggest issue we would run into is we are running around chasing after college students, not responsible adults. Most of them are impossible to get in contact with, although I think that issue starts with the leasing office making too many pointless calls but that is beyond the point. I still would rate my experience here a 5/5, as far as college living the amount this building has to offer is spectacular. The last comment I will make is be ready to pay some fees when you move out, appliances and furniture here are very cheap and if you live in a unit for 3 years like me, the stuff needs to be replaced for the next tenants, which is completely understandable. Also READ THE LEASE, so many people would get mad at us for stuff clearly stated in the lease, yes I understand 500$ fines for LED lights is absolutely obscene but maybe just don’t put them up. Anyways 5/5, Harry, Kellie, Shay, thank you guys for being great!
see moresecurity deposit. I have been harassed by people running up and down the halls late at night. Then, my vehicles were vandalized and burglarized. Their cameras are for them only. Anything I went to talk about with them was met with more lies and deceiving. They have you sign a 20 page lease that allows them not to be liable for anything and make up any more charges. I will pass everything on to a lawyer, 7-on-your-side and Governor to investigate. What they do is take care of their own. Have parties, store their personal belongings in places they are not allowed, and invite all their friends to hang out while trashing the place. Stay away if you know what's best.
