I've lived here for almost over a year now and its been really nice! I've actually really enjoyed the amenities included. The community is pretty nice and comfortable. I also really appreciate the payment options they recently integrated with flex, makes it easier to pay rent comfortably and Kyle was super helpful giving me help with all that and all my payments.

Tried applying for an apartment, until I saw the bad reviews of this place. Tried to get a refund but they rejected me for an apartment and refund because of my pay even though I work full-time at a decent paying job. Losing $58 is not worth it if you're getting rejected immediately, would not recommend this place ever.

Me and my friend lived here for 6 months, and in that time it was really quite horrible I wouldn’t really even recommend this place to save money since it’s not that much cheaper and you’ll be living in a horribly kept apartment, to start we wanted a 6 month lease on a unit with a fence around the patio but when we got there it had been struck by a golf ball so we couldn’t get that one, not a big issue except we had already signed the lease on it so to try and fix they offered another unit to us for cheaper, sounded great so we signed the next lease but without checking they hadn’t put the other lease as 6 months but a year. That’s not the only issue though because everything in the apartment looked like it had been trashed, underneath every single sink there was wood rot, vinyl flooring that was coming up, rust in the microwave. And trying to get anything fixed was like ripping teeth out.

It is unfortunate the amount of negativity 47seventy Settler's Point has received in recent reviews. Running an apartment complex isn’t like serving fast food. It takes time to deliver results. I think some of the negative reviews that have been posted may have had unrealistic expectations. As a result, here is my honest and objective review.
We’ve lived here almost five years and have been extremely happy with our decision. If your budget is tight, I would encourage you to plan on $160-175 on top of the rent for fees, trash removal, community utilities etc. Yes, there have been some challenges such as changes in management which are for the better, potholes in the parking lot which were recently repaired with the entire parking lot(s) repaved, and traffic entering and exiting the complex due to ongoing road construction on 4700 S which requires us to leave 10 minutes earlier. These types of issues could happen anywhere, and I believe management has done a good job navigating these challenges and supporting the residents. Recently they have painted, added GoogleFiber, and had the landscaping redone, as well as provided amenities such as gas firepits. They have made a lot of nice improvements for the benefit of the residents.
The office staff and maintenance crew have always been very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The apartment itself is well laid out, provides a lot of natural light, and is nestled within beautiful mature trees with a nice family environment. The rent when compared with other complexes we visited prior to making our decision was much lower and a much better value for the money. We have been very happy with 47seventy Settlers Point and would recommend it, and have recommended it, to our family and friends.

Amongst many other issues and this place being extraordinarily overpriced… they decided to receive notice of a road closure BLOCKING THE ONLY ENTRANCE and NOT relay the message to ANY of the residents. I am unable to enter or exit my apartment complex and I don’t know how long this is going to go on for. I’ve talked to other tenants to confirm that nobody was informed. There is a LINE of cars waiting to exit. This is completely unacceptable.
Update: their response to my review is insulting. When I asked the leasing office about the incident several days later, the employee replied saying “I don’t know, I don’t reside here.” So to tell me that the staff found out about it when the tenants found out about it (which wasn’t until it was happening) proves that SOMEONE or multiple of the complex’s employees are lying to me.
