I moved in almost 8 months ago, the only small complaint i have is i think my apartment was the showroom lol so maybe things were rushed for set up. There was small sticky parts on floor here and there from laying the flooring, shower tub has a weird patchy stain, and you see where they hung the artwork/curtains. I just took video when i moved in lol. Anywho. Vicki and Kenia have been great! Very friendly and they handle issues quickly - within their control. Anyone i've seen in passing has been kind, everyone really minds their own business, common areas i go thru are well kept. Im sure the amenities are nice, i work nights and sleep all day so i havent used any of them. I've enjoyed my time here so far, i just be needing somewhere clean to lay my head so i dont have much to report on. As long as my spot is good then im good lol

I honestly don’t even know where to start because living here has been SUCH a disappointment. This place looks decent on the outside, but actually living here? It sucks.
First of all, management is completely unprofessional. They don’t communicate properly, they don’t follow through on things, and they clearly don’t respect residents’ privacy. The biggest issue for me was when maintenance/management literally walked into my apartment without knocking or giving proper notice. Like, excuse me?? That is NOT okay.
And to make it worse, they walked in while I was in the middle of a very private moment with my boyfriend. No knock. No warning. No phone call. Just unlocked the door and walked in. I have never felt so embarrassed and violated in my life. That is a massive invasion of privacy and completely unacceptable. I pay rent to live here, not to feel like someone can just barge in whenever they feel like it.
There are constant issues that don’t get handled properly, and when you try to bring things up, it feels like they either brush you off or act like it’s not a big deal. But it IS a big deal when you can’t even feel safe or respected in your own apartment.
For the amount of money they charge, you’d expect basic professionalism and respect. Instead, it feels chaotic and careless. If privacy and basic boundaries matter to you at all, I would seriously reconsider living here.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are way better options out there where management actually respects their clients

I moved into decker station when it was still kind of new, i loved living here. but it seemed like the longer staying here the worse it gets.
when the pool was opened during the summer time it was packed every weekend with so many people all from the same family, i know forsure because why were they going in and out of the pool area in bunches. then at night a few times people were in the pool with speakers. drinking and talking loud like it doesn’t echo in the whole pool area at 12am and sometimes even til 4am!! crazyyy right? the two times i told management about it they gave me the run around and a number to call for if it happens again which, it sure did!! called the number and nothing was done those people stayed in the pool til 3am! what’s the point of having “security” that just answers the call and don’t even do anything? useless.
another evening someone’s dog was barking for hours on their balcony echoing in the whole pool area of the apartment. i could hear people yelling and whistling for the dog to be quiet. called the “security” again and nothing happened dog was barking for another hour or so. then i see people walking across from maverick center to get in their cars parked in our parking lot when there are concerts. why does it say our parking lot is patrolled i come home and no where to park because anyone can just park here.
one night i came home late at about 12:30am to see someone sleeping in the lobby area, don’t know if he was a resident or not just slept on the couch with a back pack and his shoes off right next to him. i just feel it’s so unsafe now.
the gym was amazing until you keep finding things missing in there. there used to be a lot of different hand pieces for the machines and now it looks like they are missing! only like 2 different handles left you can use. do yall not check the camera??? the elevators work every other week, the doors don’t scan sometimes, smells like dog or cat pee on most of the hallways, trash area reeks, they say you can put the trash out from 5-11 but if you put it out at 7 and they already came they don’t come back and pick it up. we pay for the service why not just have a second round check for some people who get off work later?
AND why are some people defensive? we can have a say in what we feel we like or don’t like about living here where we pay rent.
it was ok living here but i will not be renewing my lease. i don't think its worth the money to stay here, it went from a good quality apartment complex to medium/low quality.

I moved into Decker Station in September, but held off on writing a review until I had lived here long enough to where I felt I could leave the most accurate review for anyone considering moving into the building. To be honest, I can literally wrap up my entire review in one word: "WOW"!!! From the moment I reached out for a tour a few months ago, I've had nothing but GREAT experiences living at Decker Station. First off, management was extremely thourough and helpful in the process. Kenia was very transparant explaining pricing and amenities. My 2 bedroom/2 bathroom bottom floor is TOP NOTCH with a brand new feel and my favorite part is the kitchen island and patio space. I've never rented anywhere so incredibly animal friendly (which to me was the deciding factor to move in). Kenia simply asked if my dogs were E.S.A., to which I replied "yes" and that was that (easy peasy). My dogs feel just as at home (if not more so) than I do :) AND there is a dog wash on site so your furry friends stay clean!!! If you're an animal owner, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!!! There are so many areas around the buiding for your dogs to explore and all of my neighbors are kind and considerate everytime I walk them. Another great thing about living here is the location. It's literally close to EVERYTHING and in a central area. I took a flight recently and it was so convenint to walk steps away to the green line and ride it (straight shot) to the airport. The next great thing about Decker Station is the price. It's crazy low in cost (even being brand new) compared to other apartment buildings in the area. The trax noise might turn people off to wanting to live here, but you can honestly only hear it if you live on the east facing side of the building and when you're sliding doors/windows are closed, you don't hear a thing. Finally, my most favorite part about living at decker station is there are literally NO "KARENS." :) I have yet to come into contact with a nosey neighbor or anybody who stares and glares and/or acts judgemental. Everyone is kind, fun and minds their own businesss!!!!! So if you're looking for somewhere fabulous to live, Decker Station is it!!!!! Honestly, I haven't even been to the gym, clubhouse or pool/spa yet and I love it this much already. I can't imagine how much more I'm going to love it once I have enough time off of work to use the ametities. Okay, that concludes my review! Happy apartment hunting :)

There is no accountability between management and residents. The amenities are trashed and it keeps getting worse. If you enjoy things not working this is the place for you! The trash chutes are broken, the pool table is missing balls, most of the guys on the Foosball table are broken, and the 6th floor patio and fire-pit are locked because the glass is broken. The attention to detail when this place was built is non existent. Love the gym though… until someone trashes it.
