Moved in here back in 2022 while attending USD, left back in May. Overall, my experience was pretty good. The unit is small but served its purpose well, was very clean and modern compared to other complexes in the area. It’s a tougher neighborhood so some nights you can hear fights going on or police activity, but can’t really blame the complex for other people’s behavior. Overall though most nights were pretty quiet, I never felt like I was in danger or anything. Having the gate also added a layer of reassurance. Management is very kind and helpful, Diana was amazing and always helped me whenever I needed it. If you’re looking for a place to stay in San Diego that isn’t impossible to afford, Astro Vista is a pretty good choice in my opinion.

I wanted to share my experience regarding a recent rental inquiry. I reached out to Diana about a studio that was listed as available for a July 1st move-in. She confirmed the availability and scheduled a virtual tour with me. However, just minutes after the scheduled start time, she informed me that there is still a tenant occupying the unit and that the July 1st move-in date is no longer accurate. This last-minute change was disappointing and felt like a significant waste of time. While I appreciate the clarity in the end, the overall interaction came across as unprofessional. That said, I’m ultimately glad I learned this early in the process.

I've had a fantastic experience living here for the past 12 months. I live in a studio apartment at very affordable rates with a very responsive property management team to assist with any potential issues I endured with the unit. It was also a very easy process to receive an assigned parking space, and the gate at the front of the community provides a secure, safe atmosphere void of any fear of theft or vandalism. I would recommend checking out Astro Vista Apartments for a clean, affordable apartment

I would not recommend this place. It started of well but there are too many bad apples that steal from you. I had to sue and one rep stepped in and gave me my money back after a year. 90 percent of the workers are bad but there is some good people here-if you can reach them

Diana was very kind and helpful. Front Office staff and property management have been super helpful throughout the entire process. Walked in, was able to see a clean, well kept studio equipped with a nice kitchen, bath, and central AC. Got positive reviews from residents on the property. I applied and was approved within 15 minutes. Location and quality are optimal for this property.
