I’ve lived here for about a year and have really enjoyed my experience with the management team. They’re friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Some of the shared kitchen spaces on different floors were remodeled, which has been a great improvement.
Overall, this apartment is a solid, budget-friendly option.

I’ve been living at Sunrise Cascade for a while and really enjoy it. The community is quiet, clean, and well maintained. The management team is friendly and always responds quickly when something needs to be fixed. The location is convenient, and overall it feels like a very comfortable and safe place to live.

No AC in unit, so expect 80+ degree all day during summer season. And even if all windows are opened it will not change much.
No kitchen in-unit, and shared kitchen is always a mess; it seems nobody cleaned up after themselves. Even though there is a rule that leaving stuff there would get fined, nobody cared and it never changed.
Office hour is from 12pm to 7pm, only during which can packages be picked up. So if you are a busy student/professional, you will have trouble getting your packages easily.
Beware that utilities are evenly shared and even though there is rule that this is a single occupancy building, A LOT of units are occupied by couples. So also expect to pay others' (hefty) bills. When I am confused about the issue that why I had to pay others' bills when quite a few units are occupied by multiple people, and came to ask the building management during last minutes of their office hour, the guy said I was irritating him because my complaint did not have substance and he did not want to talk to me outside of office hours.
So it seems like when there is real issue (money involved), the building management does not really care and would not try to be helpful. They seemed nice during move-in, but that's probably because they want you to rent the place.
Pic explanation: This is what the kitchen looked like in 2018/11/09. It had stayed like this for 2+ weeks. If management did enforced the rule that would charge people for littering, then I don't think this would happen. It is clear that management does not give a F.

I've been living in this apartment for a while now. I heard that the previous management team might have had some issues, like poor management and maintenance. However, the current management team is excellent. They're not only friendly but also very responsive. Even if you can't find them during office hours, a phone call will get you a prompt response and solution. The apartment's price is incredibly affordable, especially considering its proximity to the university and supermarkets. The facilities here are shared, and while the management does their best to keep things clean, the cleanliness also depends on how your roommates use them. The building is quite old, and the furniture shows signs of wear and tear, but for the price, you can't expect much more. Overall, living here has been a good experience, particularly given its convenient location and reasonable rent.

The other reviewers must have had a pretty different experience - I thought that the team here was pretty responsive compared to other places I had lived. It felt easy to reach out for questions or maintenance updates, and there'd usually be some response within 24 hours on a weekday.
The amenities are as expected - a shared kitchen that management does try to keep clean, though there was day-to-day messiness that depended on the floormates. The washer/dryers worked well, just often all being used on Sunday nights. And the garage seemed safe - the parking can get a little tight, though!
While certainly there were some inconveniences that come with choosing a smaller apartment, Sunrise Cascade seemed reasonable for the price point - especially with the convenience of being so close to the university and so many bus stops/link station/grocery stores.
