Our neighbors had to move due to their entire apartment Being filled with mold and giving one of them pneumonia. Me and my roommate have now been without a washer for two weeks with no effort towards getting us a new one. DO NOT SIGN HERE!

I can confidently say choosing this apartment was the worst decision I have ever made. I got to my apartment and the floors were cracking, cabinets were chipping, my sink was cracking, there was a hole in the wall, no handle on the dryer, the blinds were broken, the place had not been cleaned, no hot water, slanted cabinets, water damage, mismatch wall paint, and so much more. I put maintenance requests 19 days ago, none of them have been fixed besides the hole in the wall. Then they marked that they completed it, showing me and my roommates that they don’t care about us or what we have to say. Instead, I got charged 100 dollars for putting a paper box in the wrong place (labeled trash room). Instead of fixing or apologizing or doing everything they are supposed to do, they charged me. The treatment I also received from one of the managers was disgusting. Toria was the only helpful person that has showed empathy. My father has been reaching out every day for the past week and has gotten NO response, unacceptable.

I would strongly advise anyone considering living at Yugo to think twice. I have been trying for weeks to get in contact with property management regarding the termination of my lease due to severe medical issues, and I have received no information or assistance. The year has already started now, and despite multiple attempts to communicate, management has failed to respond or take my situation seriously.
The front desk never picks up the phone, and after calling countless times, I’ve come to the realization that my number is simply being ignored. Emails go unanswered, and it is impossible to set up an appointment with staff to address urgent matters.
Because of their negligence, my roommates will now be forced to live with a random replacement roommate. This entire experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and stressful during an already difficult time.
Yugo’s lack of communication and disregard for residents’ needs is unacceptable.

Yugo Tucson Campus is unlivable and management’s “solutions” don’t work.
⭐☆☆☆☆
My son tried to move into Yugo Tucson Campus two days ago and the apartment is completely unlivable. The unit had cockroach infestation, mold, broken cabinets, filthy carpet, broken doors, and an A/C that is not working properly. His room is so hot that he hasn’t been able to sleep there.
We’ve had to reach out to Student Services at the University of Arizona, who placed him in an emergency room and board because he cannot stay in the unit we are paying $8000.00/month for a 5 bedrooms unit. The administration has offered “solutions,” but none of them actually work for us. They haven’t fixed the problems, and he is still unable to live in his apartment.
We were shown a nice model unit before signing, but the one given to him is beat up and unacceptable. Nothing has been fixed despite repeated complaints.
This place is unsafe, unsanitary, and feels like a scam. As a mother, I would never recommend Yugo Tucson to anyone’s child.

If I could give Yugo zero stars, I would!! My lease has finally ended, and I could not be more relieved to be out of there.
From the moment I moved in, I encountered numerous problems with my unit. The first issue was that the balcony door handle was completely missing, meaning we couldn’t even use the balcony, something we paid extra for. When I brought this up to management, they assured me it would be replaced quickly. That didn’t happen. I spoke to them weekly about this and it still wasn’t replaced until January, well into the second semester, which is absolutely unacceptable.
Other issues included cabinet doors hanging off their hinges, bedroom doors off the hinges, broken and missing blinds, and a damaged couch with missing buttons. Throughout the lease, nothing improved. For extended periods, we had no hot water. “Fire alarm testing”, completely unannounced, went on daily for weeks at a time, throughout the entirety of my lease. Trash frequently piled up in the hallways, and the trash room was constantly overflowing with foul smelling garbage that wasn’t removed for days. The elevators were also broken more often than they worked.
On top of that, the pool was under construction for nearly my entire lease and didn’t reopen until one or two weeks before most residents were moving out. Whenever I tried to speak to a manager, I was either told “no” or sent to Danella, one of the rudest managers I’ve ever dealt with. She was consistently unresponsive to emails about legitimate issues. The only time I experienced a response, professionalism, courtesy, and actual help, whether in person, over the phone, or via email, was when I got my dad involved.
To top it all off, after cleaning my bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen until they were spotless, I was still charged $200 for “maintenance.”
I would never recommend living here. Yugo has been, without question, the worst housing experience I’ve ever had.
