Was charged $25 for some trash my roommates left. The management is predatory even though the people that work there are nice, after all American campus communities is a very large landlord that is greedy and doesn’t have the students interests in mind. Avoid these guys if you can

Floor planreviews
Originally, my friends and I were planning to live here. So glad it didn't work out. We were "helped" by someone named Leah, whose constant mistakes made the process way more stressful than it should've been. We signed for Floorplan B, but they didn't realize until 2 WEEKS LATER that they had already let other people sign before us. Furthermore, we were told that Floorplan A, the one they were transferring us to due to their mistake, was to be cheaper. They mixed up my lease with one of my roommates, and sent one of my other roommates the wrong term, and when they finally got the right information to the right people, my lease stated that my rent was 200 dollars more expensive than my roommates. When we called, Leah told us that she had both verbally informed us of the wrong price, and written it wrong on the three other leases (TWICE, because she had to send the lease again due to her mix ups). The actual price of plan A was more expensive than plan B. None of this would have been a problem if we knew the price from the get-go. Their inability to write a lease or organize information is truly incredible. No one like this should be handling ANY form of legal agreements, or customer service for that matter, because I found out from one of my roommates that an email that was meant for me never landed in my mailbox because Leah sent it to the wrong person. But wait there's more! After we finally got the right information, we decided to void our leases because the actual rent was out of our budgets. My roommates had already signed, as this was before we found out they had lied to us about price (they sent my fixed lease last). When we emailed to void our leases because all of us signed multiple documents due to multiple mistakes, they singled out one roommate and informed her that they "couldn't void it, because a signature was legally binding", EVEN THOUGH the information on the lease was now considered wrong, and the rest of us were in the same position. We called them multiple times about this, but every time we were met with cluelessness, INCLUDING when we got through to the manager. Eventually, they cancelled our leases, which we didn't even know about until we called for conformation. Because of their endless mistakes, we had to ask for a written conformation that we were not legally bound to live in this apartment anymore. In my opinion, the space is cute and all, but it's not worth living here. Their ability to mess up so much in a couple weeks is appalling, and I can't imagine what other mistakes they would make during the actual term. I would hate to have people as incompetent as that hold power in my living situation.
