Smith & Porter Apartments

Living here has been an absolute nightmare, and management completely refuses to resolve severe maintenance and health issues. For months, I have dealing with a major leak coming from the upstairs apartment. As you can see in the attached media (and in my maintenance logs shown in the 4th image), this has caused my bathroom ceiling to crack wide open, develop toxic mildew, and literally drip dirty water on me while I am trying to take a shower (see the 3rd image). This has been like this for three months and I reported twice and each time they said a vendor was going to come out and nobody ever came. On top of the water damage, the hallway conditions are completely ignored by staff. Trash bins are left knocked over with garbage everywhere (shown in video 2 ), and neighbors are allowed to let their pets use the hallway directly in front of my door as a bathroom without any consequences. I have reached out to the General Manager, who just told me to go to the leasing staff. Every time I go to the office, nobody is there. I have sent multiple follow-up emails, and they simply ignore them. They will happily take your rent money but will leave you living in moldy, unsanitary conditions. Avoid this place at all costs. If you have any similar issues like this contact the inspector general.
