Been living here the past year, and it has been a good experience. Great location in reference to campus, nice and clean amenities, and an awesome staff. Everyone is willing to help out if you have a problem. Turner, who runs maintenance, is the best dude ever…he has helped me tremendously with any issue I have and is always smiling.
The Mag1 apartments were bought out by new owners before I moved in and they were “renovated” before new tenants moved in. I was told by the property manager that all units were “completely gutted down to the studs” for the renovations to “remove any possible mold or asbestos.” Well that simply was not true, at least not in my unit. Which makes you wonder about mold and asbestos being in there, right? The renovations were sloppy and rushed. Went months without a properly working hot water heater after submitting multiple maintenance requests and reaching out to management. Painted over water damage on bathroom ceiling which the mold just grew through it. Put in a maintenance request for that & they spray painted over it! Again! The laundry room only has 5 washing machines for the whole complex and at least one was broken at all times. I could go on and on. There were so many issues widespread in the whole complex, not just me. And they proceeded to increase the rent! So just trust me when I say you DO NOT want to live here!
