Bridge at Midtown Commons

We had lived at midtown for three years and it’s changed a lot. When it went under the Bridge management things unfortunately changed for the worse. Some of the biggest issues we encountered were: - Security: It became incredibly unsafe for me as a young woman, lots of aggressive homeless folk loitering and breaking and entering of vehicles AND homes. We watched a police stand off of a person who entered an apartment and wouldn’t leave. Our neighbors who had storage units had theirs broken into regularly. Something we also realized is our MAIL was being stolen (most likely by someone with a mail key after talking to our local mailman) which is a federal crime. - Paying for amenities that do not work: you pay for Brivo but most doors including the garage doors were constantly broken without ever being maintained during our time there. Parcel lockers are full/not working or just not even used by carriers, we had hundreds of dollars in packages stolen because of this. - Neglected property: Trash and dog/ human feces everywhere which is a huge health risk. I have never seen this issue resolved during our entire time there. The elevators are constantly down as well which is concerning if you have a disability. - Apartments are overpriced for a sad and tired interior. Appliances are old and the carpet is usually pretty gross. Giving it a star though because of the really prime location, lots of good food and transportation access nearby.
