Henley and Remy Apartments

They won’t repair water damage caused by a rain leak and defective AC. They raised my rent suddenly by $182 a month through sudden bogus fees for things that don’t exist like common area gas service of $49.84. When leasing they tell you the only utilities you pay are electricity and water but they’re lying. Look up their 2024 court case they lost with the state of Colorado over charging for repairs and illegal fees. Oh and everything in the common area is disrepair from gym equipment, a broken jacuzzi and they always leave the pool super cold at 50F. Even the coffee machine in the common area is broken and the gym tv has no WiFi and there is no signal down there in the basement. And all the common area bathrooms smell like poo because they don’t clean them

Finally got our deposit back, 11 weeks after our lease ended. Time to write an honest review. Major issues: 1. The baseboard heating couldn't warm the unit above 60 degrees. Requested they fix it multiple times. Maintenance said that all the units have the same issue. Had to use space heaters all winter. 2. No laundry in our unit, and the shared laundry facilities on site were always broken. Had to do laundry at the laundromat the majority of the time we lived there. Minor issues: 1. Walls and floors are thin, could hear our neighbors talking, vacuuming, gaming, etc all the time. 2. First 6 months living there, the on site manager Rosalie was unresponsive to emails and calls. Only way to get help was to go to the office, which was usually closed. After Rosalie left, things got much better on that front. Overall: The location is great. The parking is adequate for tenants and visitors. The AC is nice to have in the summer. However, we were very unhappy with our unit and started looking at new apartments 5 months into our one year lease. We are much happier in our new place and world recommend avoiding Four Star Realty properties in general.
