I recommend this place as a decent place to live. The price is good, the apartment is perfect and maintenance has always come right away the same as pest control.
Front desk attendance is polite and efficient. I plan living here for many years. Also, I love the location.

The females who work in the office are lazy and rude, they will treat you like dirt if you complain about valid issues. For me, they moved me into a unit that was INFESTED with roaches. I’m talking 15-25 visible live roaches spotted the exact day I moved in. I reported immediately and they ignored me until I called a second time. Two months later I complained again because there was NO improvement. I was present when pest control came this time and they told me that they NEVER sprayed my apartment last month when I first reported it. My unit was not on the list provided to them. I was told several different things over the phone so I went in person to straighten things out. All the property manager did was deny any mistake on their part and BLAME ME while raising her voice and yelling at me like a ghetto teenager (literally sassy hand motions and everything). I have never interacted with an adult who has behaved so poorly in a professional setting before. Especially after moving me into an infestation AND failing to ensure it was treated the first time I reported it. That’s on THEM. DO YOUR JOB. My neighbors use our shared porch as a dumping ground for trash and their bike was literally blocking the path to my door (even though this is forbidden in the lease). I had to cram my couches in over the porch railing bc of this and could not carry laundry or groceries through my front door. I had to email 3x, call 2x, and show up in person before they did anything about yet when these SAME neighbors falsely reported me for not cleaning up after my dog they threatened to fine me $100 and evict my pet (the lease specifically states it’s only $25). Clearly, the complex management doesn’t want to do their job (not sure why because its a really easy job), they discriminate, and they don’t care about making DTI money because the icing on the cake is that they are refusing to renew my lease, LOL. Bottom line is; don’t live here if you have any standards or expect the employees to behave like respectable & productive members of society. There are plenty of cheap places to live that have good customer service and treat you with kindness.

I have lived here for almost 2 years now and this complex is LOADS better than my last apartment (cough cough.. The Ivy) The one bedroom is extremely affordable in this economy and I'm able to afford the pet rent and two parking spots comfortably.
I keep my place clean so I never have to worry about CAUSING roaches or any other creepy crawlies. Not sure about my neighbors though because after all the noises and smells from up, left, and right sometimes they still appear through the walls but I just kill them and move on. Anyone else would’ve complained but it’s no big deal I like to keep to myself and I like it here.
The grounds are old and somewhat well kept. The grass needs help definitely because it’s always really muddy and flooded when raining or just dirty and dust everywhere, but the area doesn't get much direct sunlight so its not their fault. The trash is usually always overflowing and has big items and trash around the cans, but maintenance does a good job at keeping it off the roads and parking spots.
This area is quiet and simple and I cant ask anything more due to how well priced and located it is. I do highly recommend living here if you're looking for a short to semi long term home. My only few complaints are
1) that the roads and speedbumps desperately need help. The concrete is destroyed in a lot of areas making it difficult to navigate comfortably and the speedbumps are WAY too tall, I get complaints from friends and delivery drivers frequently when their stock height vehicles scrape on the bumps or stuff gets rattled about whenever they go over and items spill, but theirs always user error to account for that's just my personal opinion.
2) The office hours are somewhat inconsiderate to the normal working individual due to it only being open from 9-5 and closed on weekends meaning if I ever need information or I need to go in and sign for something I either need to leave work in the middle of the day or leave work early to catch them before they all leave for the day. Especially with the current mail situation I've been unable to receive my mail or go in to sign the paperwork due to conflicting hours.
3) I've never personally met a "Manager" or any member of management when in the office, but yet whenever theirs a grievance with my apartment like the blinds being broken or an "eyesore" on my patio I always come home to a letter on my door with an explanation and a waring from "Management" that I will be fined if not taken care of within a few days. I personally would appreciate a more personal conversation over the phone or in person with the property manager about the issue to create more of a relationship rather than that typical "Landlord Effect" that is created by condescending letters with fines being clipped to my door.
4) Nearly 2 years into living here and I have yet to receive a laundry card. I have asked multiple times over the phone and in person and I get a different response every time weather its that I need to bring a money order to another complex to purchase said card and then bring it back to the office to refill it or that I need to use another complexes system entirely. I believe its managements duty to provide a laundry card on site and remove the obstacles that are being created requiring tenets to go above and beyond to complete a task that should've been done day one of move in. Or switch to an entirely new system all together that uses a phone app or an online refilling process with a bar code on washers and dryers like other places have long since done. I am content currently with my process of using a washeteria but it would be very nice to be able to use the on site facilities and not have to make so many unnecessary trips through the weeks.
Needless to say I really do enjoy living here and I will continue to support this complex the best I can and if you're looking for a nice place to live with little to no strings attached, this is the place for you. If you think differently than me then that's also okay my ups might be your downs or vis versa.

I lived here for 2 and half years. The buildings are old but rent is affordable. Staff are helpful and friendly, and maintenance is very fast. Only issue was my neighbor had a loud AC that was annoying but I can understand they won’t replace something that works in such a cost-effective place. Overall experience is pretty good👍

I have lived at Huntington Apartments for the past year and couldn't be happier with my experience. Throughout my time here, I haven't had any issues. The management team is super nice and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile.
Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which is a big plus. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live.
