Floor planI had the worst time of my life at 79th Street Hunter dorms. The building is old and disgusting. The security is awful. Basically anyone can come in without showing ID. And you are paying a lot of money for that terrible condition.
The floors are tilted by 10° in some places due to the age and settling of the building; be warned that no table, chair, or bed will ever have all four legs touching the ground. Due to warped frames, not a single (sliding or hinging) door worked properly in my dorm; the wood around the bathroom door rotted away and it fell off its' hinge for the rest of the year (had to be carried around since). Expect a noticeable population of mice.
