Great place to live for students.
I lived at the beaver lodge for 3 years and it was a great experience. It operates similarly to a frat house with less social commitment and more of an academic focus. Socially there are plenty of events hosted by the house both formally and casually, but each person has the freedom to choose if and when they want to attend. In terms of actual living experience, the house itself is a little old and damaged. However there are many benefits that outweigh the age of the house such as meals prepared by a chef, great wifi, and affordable rent. You can expect to pay $600-700 a month for rent and food, and the food is excellent. The house has about 30 people living there at a time, and mostly everyone is chill. This makes it a great place to make friends during school. Overall, this is a great housing opportunity for students, and I would recommend it for anyone looking to focus on their academics, while getting the most of their college experience.
