I’ve lived at Atlantic Highland Park and my experience has been mostly positive. Maintenance requests are always addressed promptly. For me, the biggest issue and frustration is the package room. Clearly the room does not have enough package lockers to accommodate the number of residents. Also, there is no system to buzz visitors in. Every time I have a friend come over, I have to go down 3 floors and let my friends in. Yes, the dog poop and piss smell in parking garage sucks, but that’s on the residents who take their dogs out and let them piss in the garage.
Anyway, other than those things, I really like it here. I find my little one bedroom to be very homey. I like living here. It’s in my price range and office staff is clearly doing their best.

This apartment complex is mediocre. There is always a bits of trash everywhere, dog waste bins full, etc. The hallways are dirty and need to be cleaned. Everything needs a clean/power wash. If they properly maintained the property it would be fine. I wish they would just put a little more effort in maintenance and cleanliness.

I haven’t had too many issues living here for the past year or so, office staff is friendly albeit not super responsive to emails. Neighbors are generally friendly and I haven’t had any issues. But this apartment could use overhaul on how things are run. I’ve felt like things have just been falling apart recently.
1. The garage gate in one of the building has been broken for a couple months and the apartment is just now fixing it. During which time, anyone could just drive in and park in the garage.
2. The door to the hallway on the third floor is broken, and the other day, I come to find the handle has been ripped off completely. That leaves the building completely accessible to anyone. Also the stairwell door to the street level is broken and no longer requires a key.
3. The apartment hallways and stairwells are filthy. Cobwebs and dirt on the walls. It’s like the apartment staff never comes through and cleans anything. Not to mention people abandoning large pieces of furniture in the hallways and the pieces staying there for days or weeks.
4. And now I come home to find a shooting has taken place in the complex. Definitely makes you feel unsafe. And we all know the apartment will try to raise the rent when that time comes.
But one things this apartment excels at is making sure they charge you all the fees. Despite the fact that half their stuff is either not working or being held together by bubble gum.

Applied for an apartment and got denied (over rental history that I paid off and had proof) not even 5 hours after applying I am not upset about that, because i moved to their competition however I never received my refundable fee reached out no one followed up so I disputed it. Instead of them sending the 150 back that states in their app criteria they fought it with my bank and will not answer the office phone nor give me a corporate number. Very unprofessional at them for doing that.

Listen to the other reviews on here about management. This place is so gross. I’ve lived across the street in the neighborhood the past 6 years and I can’t wait to move Monday. This place is trashed. They do not take care of it in any aspect. Dog poop bags everywhere it smells like feces everywhere around the building because they removed the disposal bins for them. Rodent traps everywhere. Trash everywhere I can only imagine what kind of filth lies behind the walls of the actual building for its residents if this is what I’ve had to see on my walks through the neighborhood the past 6 years. Management clearly does not care how their filth affects the value of the rest of the neighborhood or its residents. Run from this place.
