Worst apartment experience I've ever had. We moved from states away and were switched to a different unit, given a different lease, and lied to about our unit being upgraded. Because we were moving from so far away and on a schedule (my partner was going to attend the nearby university), we had no choice but to take it. The ceiling and walls drip tobacco from previous tenants and the cabinets are covered in residue. The unit was absolutely disgusting when we moved in; fridge and oven hadn't been cleaned at all, the a/c (located behind the door) didn't work and when replaced, now blocks the front door from opening all the way. We still suffer from hot nights despite multiple fans placed throughout the unit. The walls are super thin to the point where I could hear our neighbor's tv and our other neighbor's sound system would shake the wall. The bathroom is so small that you couldn't stand in it and open or close the door at the same time without maneuvering around the door or standing in the shower. Months before our lease's end the management company began touring our apartment with often times less than 24 hours notice. I've never been more excited to move out. TLDR; The worst landlord special, dirty upon move-in, poor management.
