I've lived at UHouse for 3 years. Of course it has its pros and cons like any place (both will be listed here), but it has been a great option for me to live in as a student, and even fresh after graduating as I figure life out. This place does have its quirks, though... there has been a pattern of the garage gate breaking multiple times and it was especially bad this year. If you keep a car here, make sure you have a club or something on it as break-ins when this occurs are not unheard of. In addition, at times many of the washing machines go out of order, our AC didn't work properly for a while, and the elevator is notoriously slow. With that being said, living on the third floor, I've felt very safe in the unit itself and had good luck with a roommate match. The location is very convenient if you're a student, the rent is reasonable for Denver, and the front desk staff has always been very helpful and friendly to me. I've also had good luck with the packages and appreciate the security in the building with the key fobs, and hope they continue to be on top of that. Maintenance has also been super friendly and quick (S/O to Jared), and have answered every call about the previously mentioned AC issues, which they fixed! And the apartment has held up pretty well, and compared to other issues I've heard of with the other nearby buildings, I'm glad I chose this one. I think UHouse was a great place to be as a student and would recommend it for DU living (and have)!

Great front desk staff and management. On the off chance I ever have a maintenance issue, the maintenance team acts super quickly. Clean building. Package security is also top notch (unlike The Vista, which is a block away from UHouse, and has terrible security in general). Overall solid experience living here. Not a resort-style experience by any means, but a great value especially for its location.
